The other was about a woman's burned skeleton found in the chandelier of a hotel room. Again, a very convoluted mystery with a surprising murderer.

I concluded my afternoon with today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. The gay storyline was rpominent today. At one point it looked like the final break-up between luke and Noah. Then on the previews, it seemed like all wasn't exactly over between them. Very soap opera-ish!

Why is it that every time I see LARRY MOORE's name marquee-ing across the screen, I think of A PASSAGE TO INDIA?

Defense Attorney:
"Where is Larry Moore?"

Mob outside courtroom:
"Larry MOORE!  Larry MOORE"

"Give us Larry MOORE"!

I think of A PRESAGE TO INDIGESTION.

Is this due to the pepto-like color?  Or is it about Larry?

Show of hands, please:  how many DRs watched the dvd of William Friedkin's CRUISING last night?

My hand is raised.

I didn't get my copy until today.  But it will have to take its turn in the "queue."

I just read in VARIETY that by the end of today, AMC will likely have renewed MAD MEN for a second season. I am VERY happy about this.

The first thing you notice is that the disclaimer is gone.  Bravo to Warners for taking it off.

What disclaimer?  What did they disclaim?

Back from a fine run-through - no real problems, and all costume changes went smoothly, even the quickest of them.  Of course, we're still missing stuff, but our replacement gal is working around the clock and we'll have everything for our afternoon dress tomorrow.  I let everyone go at three, I helped schelp stuff to the theater, and then came home, but just got a call that they need me to come back because Cason and BJ, both of whom we've been calling since three, have their stupid cell phones off and therefore can't be raised to help us.  Oh, well, I'll be back in an hour, I guess.

I have some writing to do now, and then will head back down for mroe TV.

I cleaned the den this morning, and I've already read a chapter in THE DEATHLY HALLOWS for today, so that will give me an extra amount of time for viewing.

Perhaps there can be an H/K gathering once The Brain opens...between opening night and closing night?  Aside from the obvious...when many will be in town, I mean?

And were you, DR TOMOVOZ, twisting away?
Alas "The Twist" was not a hit here until 1962. The Dance fared better - 1961.  Our first success for Chubby Checker was later 1960's "The Hucklebuck".

TD, not knowing why your toe hurts is scary, or it means you are as big a klutz as I am and bump yourself to often to remember every bump.

Vibes the red & pain go away soon.

I vote for being a klutz.  BUT, I do have a high pain tolerance level, so I could have stoved that toe eons ago and am just now feeling the pain.   ;)
