I saw THE RED SHOES on MGM-HD a couple of weeks ago. It was a poor quality print they had used for the transfer, but portions of it were still simply stunning in HD. HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSEN was also superb in HD.

I still think Lermentov is in love with Krasker and jealous because he married Vicky.

MR BK can you tell us if the new novel is one of a series or going in a different direction?

DR JOSE - I forget if I mentioned it, but I went ahead and ordered the DOCTOR ATOMIC dvd, even though it is the original production.....found it for $35 including shpg. from an Amazon.com dealer.

Did everyone get tickets for the show at MelodyLand?  DR DRUXY says you can see Hugo Montenegro, Eddy Arnold, and Billy DeWolfe on the same bill.

I am still intrigued by the entire ordeal....er....I mean line up.

Escher was never better represented on British television....this is obviously where the Andersons got the idea to put  Cliff Richard and the Shadows in Super Marionation.....

And once the Met's production is released on DVD next year, then you can run them side-by-side for a side-by-side comparison. ;)

And once Indianapolis Opera Co. does its production, I can forget about it altogether.

Did I mention that the burn on my wrist is in the shape of Australia?

And if not Sydney, then how about Melbourne?  Upper Beaconsfield?

I think I see Dubbo

Well, I was just about to go to sleep when Boo went in my closet and hacked up a hairball.  Luckily I has recently cleaned out the closet so she didn't get it on anything.   Then I noticed that I really have a head ache. So I took an Aleve and am waiting for it to kick in before I go back to sleep.

Cilla, I hope your headache goes away quickly.  I can't get to sleep if I have a headache. :P

Thanks DR George, but it will go away, it's just from stiff muscles in my shoulders and from the work I've been doing in the basement.  It's not a biggy, I just like to give the Aleve a little time to work while I'm sitting up.

think I'll try to go back to sleep now

Jrand, not quite ready to reveal what I'm writing, but it I had two different things I was thinking about and a couple of weeks ago, after thinking long and hard about it, I made what I think was the absolute right decision about which to go with.  I'll get around to the other one, and maybe even this year.
