JRand55, LOL! We both won!

I also just bid on a FOCUS magazine that has a photo of Allison in it.  Probably one of the Universal publicity photos we've seen, but time will tell.  ;D

Cillaliz good packing vibes!  I hate to pack.

Might Nilla have a gum disease?  How is his weight?

Oh he's fat as ever. He has had a strange tooth disease that cats get where their teeth rot from the inside out and show no signs until it's too late.  At that point he usually quits eating. He is still eating, but is acting a bit strange so I looked and his gum is very inflamed. I'm going to see if I can get him into the vet tomorrow. They both need their shots and I have the day off, so hopefully I can get an appointment

JMK we are both descended from a Lord which would make us Lady Jane’s, thankfully not Lady Jane Grey.

There are so many good movies out right now.  Today we opted for BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN.

I had an ancestor who was beheaded for messing around with Lady Jane Grey

Glad the packing is going so well, DRCILLALIZ.  We must have a picture of the whiskey cases sitting around the living room.

My family ended up in Appalachia by around 1803, but I suspect they were deported from England for thievery, knavery, pillage, and rape.  I doubt they sailed on the Mayflower.

Okay.  Time to crash.  I have a trip to Toyland first thing tomorrow morning.

I think I will watch a movie now.  MR BK must have been hijacked by an audience member OR the cast!

Or maybe he's working some notes!

Another of mine - probably friends of your ancestors, DRELMORE - was arrested and sentenced to hang for stealing a horse, the rope broke and he was set free.....they called him Horseneck.  Of course he went right out within a couple of months and stole another horse.  This time the rope DIDN'T break.  :P

Elmoore, I've been meaning to ask you forever: do you use notation software and, if so, which?  I've used all 3 biggies, but only have Encore (yes, I'm a luddite) at home.  I can get Finale pretty much for free, but am still debating between it and Sibelius.  I'm asked to so many charts now where they want it in Finale, so I guess that's the obvious choice.  (Luckily, Finale will import Encore files, so so far I've been able to finesse everything with pickier clients).

Just a comment about Encore... I LOVE Encore!!!   I've tried Allegro and NotePad, but I love Encore.  I just hope they continue with their updates!

Interesting... My Scots-Irish ancestors were kicked out....My 3xg-grandmother's brother was a bit of a randy lad and they left after the local plantation owner placed a priced on his head for putting hsi daughter in the family way.

Well we think we have a Mayflower ancestor too, it's family lore, but there is a generation gap we just can't seem to fill.  We do have the Forsyths traced back to 1600 and something in Midlothian Scotland.  The came to New Jersey in...I want to say the 1690s but for some reason 1734 is ringing bells. I haven't looked at it in a long time.

Another ancestor is Thomas Macy...he was the original man from Nantuckett!

Interesting... I have a Civil War ancestor who was injured in a very interesting place at the battle of Pleasant Hill.

My German ancestors come from the Rheinland, Baden-Wuertemberg, Hesse-Cassel, Westphalia, Pommern, and the Sudetenland

Well, it's started anyway. I really hate packing, but it is good to look at everything I have.  I've only tossed about 1 garbage bag full so far, I'm sure there will be more.

My best news was when I went online to check out changing my phone service through Qwest and learned that I can keep my same phone number. That was very exciting.  Of course they don't guarantee it, but I'm really hoping. It's bad enough to change addresses, but the phone to is a pain.  Of course my cell won't change, but that's another story

I have heard the same rumour.. It has been a strange winter. We have had a fair amount of snow but it has been mild...

Great night of TV. '24' was as jaw-dropping and riveting as promised, and I loved every minute of it.

During the second hour, the head FBI agent turned out to be Matt Battaglia, an actor I'm sure DR MBarnum would be interested to know is still working. It didn't appear that the role would be recurring, but I'll keep you posted as another two hours of the show come on tomorrow night. Can't wait!
