I talked to my mother this morning... My dad had a comeuppance with aunt vulture...

He asked how she wanted her perch wallpapered!! It is where vultures sit...

She was ticked that my dad told her off... I loved it!

Gave up trying to catch up on the happenings here at HHW for the past month or so.  Things are going about 1000mph here in the SF Bay Area.

West Coast Condolences to DR Danise for her loss.  Hang in there, we're here for you.

A West Coast Happy Birthday to our French Pastry, DR Francois.

Without spending too much time on this, the move the East Coast will happen on Monday, October 8 (the day after I finish a run of Annie, Get Your Gun complete with Elmore Orchestrations) in which we'll put the dog into the Honda Element and begin our journey to our new home, Danville, PA  and attempt to open a bakery there.  More later as things develop.

Public thanks to bk for all he's done the past few days with helping sort out the case of the missing "The Creature Wasn't Nice" CD.

It's nice to be back.

Well...

Into my tux, and off to sing a benefit concert.

DR elmore3003, I'm singing the Cosi Act I trio you helped me with a few weeks ago.  Also some Vaughan Williams songs.

Smooches, kids!

So, is the person on your right dealing drugs and the one on your left looking at porn?  That's what a woman complained about to one of my co-workers the other night.

When I first read this (quickly), I thought that you had written, "That's what a woman complained about one of my co-workers the other night."  A patron was complaining about one of your co-workers looking at porn??  I didn't see the "complained about to one of my co-workers." ::)

WE get porn peakers every once in awhile at the main library at NDSU and I have had to ask them to leave for that is not acceptable on state property.

In our libraries, I think that there is at least one computer in every branch that has a privacy screen.  We have rules regarding protecting people's privacy as much as possible (intellectual freedom, and all that).  As long as no one can see what they're looking at (and it's not actually illegal), I'm pretty sure that they can look at whatever they want. ::) When a person logs out of a library computer, it automatically clears the cache and the history so that the next person can't accidentally find what they were viewing or searching.

Well...I don't work at a public branch, so I have my very own non-shared computer. ::)

(But otherwise, no.  The building closes today at 5:00 p.m.)

Just heard on the local news that a woman in the twin cities is pregnant with sextuplets. She took fertility drugs

There goes another orchestra!

She should have gone to Six Cities and have ended up with twins! ;)

Good evening...that nap was wonderful.

I woke up to Boo curling up and purring by my head. She hasn't done that In a long time.  Yesterday we all went to the vet. Callie had her glands cleaned and they both had pedicures. Boo has lost another 1/2 pound, which made absolutely no sence to me. She's eating, not getting sick and running and playing, but the vet found no problems so, we're going to see where she is in another couple weeks. If her weight is stable or she gains a little then she'll get a clean bill of health.

They were both very upset to go to the vet, but have been so loving since we got back home.  Amazing.
