Oh! The bus driver put a copy of the latest "Batman" movie in the DVD player...  Hmmm...

....hmmmmmmm....BOOTLEG?  Or specially licensed film?

I believe it's a part of those "Buy 1 for $4, or 3 for $10" Special Chinatown Editions.

DR Ann, such a nice birthday present from your DMIL.  Does she live close enough to do this more often?

For DR CILLALIZ, re: the flu shot question.

I had mentioned that here it is required for people to wait after they get their flu shot. And you asked why.

I didn't realize that it wasn't mandatory everywhere. But the reason we are required to wait after getting a flu shot is in case we get a reaction. Apparently if you are going to get a reaction it is most common that it will happen in the first 15 minutes. So they make everyone wait just to make sure they did not have a reaction.

That was why i asked you if they had made you wait. And i think i asked how soon the reaction occured (i was curious). Hope that helps.

DR Jennifer, I forgot to mention there have been drive-thru flu clinics, as amazing as that is.  I’m sure no one waits after those.

I'm sorry, but I'm just feeling a bit silly at the moment.

Hmmm... Sinus medications! :)

Here in the U.S., last year's flu shot is one they made us wait 15 minutes for.  This year, they said we didn't need to wait.

Maybe you got the shot we got last year.

Did anyone catch the "Heroes" plug in last night's "TrueBlood"?  :D

When I got in, I watched the remaining 45 minutes of BROTHERS & SISTERS. The Kevin story went exactly as I had anticipated. The Nora story went exactly as expected. Nice to see Justin and non-sister take it to the next level.

Yes, I thought it much too predictable, as well.

Good Evening!

Still on the bus. We just had our Ten Minute(!!!!!!) break somewhere near the south end of the NJ Turnpike...

-I decided to grab a bite to eat at the Roy Rogers, and probably shouldn't have.

-On the bright(?) side, at least I was not left in the parking lot like one poor woman was. Apparently, she didn't realize that when her bus driver said "Ten Minutes!!!", he really meant it. Alas, no one on my bus, including myself and the driver, could really help her. I do hope she gets to her intended destination somehow or other.

If they could hear her screaming why couldn't the bus stop?

Well, I need to leave work, now.  I came in early and I'm leaving early. ;)

I have some things to do before rehearsal starts tonight, so I need to go.  Have a good rest of the evening, all!

Until later. :)

Oooh!.. I had a bad Dionne Warwick concert experience too. Well, she had a semi-bad night, but it was good for a laugh.

A performer with absolutely no connection with the audience. So very cold!

T.O.D.

Sorry to disagree with the guy from Austria, but I saw Dionne Warwick live in concert in the 70's, and she was incredible, and very giving to her audience.

Dianna Ross and The Supremes
Bette Midler (1973) with a very young Barry Manilow
