DR Jose, I had a feeling you had probably eaten both the blueberry pancakes and the chicken and waffles :)

Excuse me.

DR elmore - Would you prefer them to do the whole opera in English?  -I hope you have a wonderful time in Morningside Heights this afternoon, and if you're blood sugar does drop, there are a bunch of small food stores and bodegas around there too.

Either entirely in English or entirely in German. I think this current practice is ridiculous.

Well, at least the NYTimes liked the cast that you will be seeing this afternoon. *And earlier I meant to ask you to pass on a Congrats from me to Josh. -And what's up with Curtis? -We can talk later this week... :)

Well, I should start donning my tux for our final show. Thanks for all the Vibes. After the show, I have to strike my pit - a.k.a. put away the box/computer - and then I'll probably stick around and help with the set strike too. Then I'll head back to the apartment to pack my luggage, and then there's a closing/birthday party for one of the resident actors. Sleep is still TBA.

Laters...

As of yesterday, the swine flu "epidemic" had infected eight people, in LA and Texas.  There is a new report of some kid at a school in NY, but as far as I know no one has done tests to make sure it's the swine flu and not just a flu flu.  But, you know, one case would be an epidemic for the media - after all, Jay Leno is now over his stomach flu or food poisoning so they need something new.

We are on Long Island but I'm at a computer right now so I thought I would drop in for a few minutes.

We have serious car problems. The little car that could is now the little car that needs repairs. I guess two round trips to Wisconsin put a strain on the little guy.

I'm taking the train back this evening and Anthony will stay out here. He and his father will take the car into the shop to see what's wrong (it's something to do with the brakes and rear suspension) and how much it will cost.

It just makes me glad I don't have a car!

And on that note I will take my leave.

But before I go, I listened to Donald's second show with David P and loved it. What a smart and funny man (that can apply to both David and Donald). I'm glad I got to listen.

The cases in the New York high school were confirmed as Swine Flu.  I expect that you will see the 8 other confirmed cases' number swell quite a bit this week.

I decided not to go downtown today, Fiesta Broadway will have 500,000 people attending.  Over 200 food booths for someone who can not eat.

Back from the long jog - pretty indeed - I was not pretty, but the day certainly is.  Charmy is pretty and pretty amazing-looking for a sixty-six year old woman.

I shall now be on my way to rehearse, after which I'll be joining Mr. Cason Murphy at the VERY gay and festive French Market Cafe for a VERY gay and festive luncheon and prep session for our Nudie Musical casting.

Sunday afternoon greetings!  We are back from Lima, OH, where it was announced that, effective May 17, 2009, my DH will be the permanent vicar at Holy Nativity Anglican Church.  They have not had an assigned pastor for a couple of years and are very glad to have someone who will be shepherding them, even from afar.

Just put on The Brain from Planet X, another day of music, all day.

Will venture out once to unload the car at Out of the Closet, as I uncluttered some more yesterday.

Last night I watched MURDER AT THE VANITIES (1934) which is another film from Universal's PRE-CODE dvd set. Such a fun, fun movie with tons of outstanding Earl Carroll musical numbers.

If you enjoy back-stage murder mysteries you will love this movie!

I am going to have to rent the other titles in this set, or maybe just break down and buy it!

Yes, I've been meaning to buy this set. I am familiar with some (but not all ) of the movies, and I'd love to see them.
