I meant play leading men, not do leading men, of course.

Well, now...let's not rule anything out just yet. ;)

Though, of course, Broadway's John S. wouldn't be one of them. He's dead to me...remember?

The benefit is Monday night November 5th at 7:30.  And we're having a silent auction filled with great stuff, including signed musical quotes from some terrific and famous composers.

jason, do you mind being talked about in the third person?  :)

I'm an actor. I thrive on it.

Perhaps he could do both!

I never get to watch PASSIONS on non-holiday days.  It seems to be silly, but seems to know it's silly.  Is this just one of the better episodes?  I know the show is quite reviled by many.

Sometimes we celebrate July 4 by watching 1776; some years we don't get around to it in time. It's a long movie.

How many hot dogs did Joey eat, what was the time frame, and did he have to keep them down, or could he vomit on the ground and continue?

I was going to do a few things today, but I'm really thinking I shouldn't do anything but clear my head and rest, as I'll be working and doing things all weekend.

elmore, sent you more e-mails.  And it wasn't me who called your cell - I don't even have that number anymore, as I thought it was temporary.

I didn't think a call at 3:30 am was yours.  I've been getting a lot of calls from Malaysia or somewhere, and Verizon's been no help at all.

Speaking of Verizon, there's this Fios commercial in which the installation guy tells the kid "It's true quom" or Guam or quam. What the hell is that?????

The psychosexual problems of the "head writer" is all over this moronic piece of crap show.  Does he ever put both feet on the ground? His writing's an insult to police procedure, the legal system, gays and transgendered people, good writing, and logic.

But it was an education to finally see what people have been talking about.

Quote
NEW YORK —

American Joey Chestnut broke the world hot-dog eating record Wednesday at the annual Nathan's Famous International Hot Dog Eating Contest, downing 66 franks to beat six-time defending champ Takeru Kobayashi.

"I made my body work for me," Chestnut said after his win was announced.

Kobayashi finished second with 63 dogs eaten, though he seemed to spew up some dogs as the 12-minute contest came to a close at New York's Coney Island.

It's like watching an accident it's so horrible! I can't believe the writers get paid good money to write such nonsense.  It's too bad you missed Esme and the mother-in-law of Ethan, who are both written as drag queens with a Big Penis fixation, but you did catch the moronic POTO ripoff with the hermaphrodite murderer the police force is incapable of apprehending.

Watching The Prodigal - but it's too light in the TV room, so I'll wait a bit to continue.
