MY NAME IS EARL had an OK episode having to do with a brat camp that Earl and brother Randy had been sent to where they had been responsible for burning down the barn. Not the best of the EARLs, but the time passed reasonably enough.

Thanks Tomovoz. Once again, you're there for me!
OzDerek would have been right with you too Rodzinski.
I'll be away for 10 days from Tuesday next. I hope you can find a temporary replacement.

THE OFFICE had the night's best half hour of laughs and sentiment as boss Michael took his staff on a river outing where hijinks and silliness occurred.

spoiler - - - -

Also a wedding date was set that had a devastating effect on one of the office workers who carries a torch for the receptionist.

Actor John Krasinski's lovesick Jim on the show is my favorite character, and my heart really went out to him during the episode tonight.

WITHOUT A TRACE had a moving episode concerning a missing paramedic who was trying his best to fight gangs in Harlem through setting an example. Very bittersweet story and ending.

Our spring-like weather has officially ended. We had a very cold, biting rain earlier tonight, and now it's very cold and windy outside - exactly the way January is SUPPOSED to be.

A biblical reference from Jeremiah - or perhaps that is Jaremiah!

I want to see the film EBB TIDE.

I think that's do-able.  Check your PMs.  (Not your PMS, that's something entirely different).

Well, I detoured and ended up reading about an actress named Barbara Payton who apparently, if I had been alive in the 50s and crossed her path, I could have had sex with.

Ah yes, the beautiful and refined Barbara Payton! LOL! You must see her in BRIDE OF THE GORILLA!  ;D

Actually, she was a pretty darn good actress for the most part and quite a looker.

That reminds me of:

There was a little girl
who had a little curl
Right in the middle of her forehead
When she was good
she was very very good
and when she was bad,
she was popular

:-\  Barry Cowsill of the band THE COWSILLS was just identified as one of the victims of hurricane Katrina. His body was found December 28 and identified with dental records.  He was 51.

HMAS Cerberus is our local Naval training station.  Styx is one of my favourite 70's bands. Now if I can just find someone willing to pay the ferryman I'll be OK.
