Kookaburra's Show was indeed the Campbell show DR Elmore. First I've heard of the problems but then Melbourne is rarely interested in Sydney!

It's Kookaburra's second production - the first was a "dull" Pippin.

I'm not even a fan of Peter Cousins as a Singer/Actor but you'd think with his experience in theatre here - (les mis, aspects of love etc) he would know better - then I do make the mistake that Actors etc can think!

I know it's work but I never understood why Warlow and O'Connor let themselves become involved in the tragedy that was "Man Of La Mancha"
Then again Anthony W was involved in producing it. DUMB.

So given your post above - the answer is YES.

I just can't believe what they wrote about pasha being so sick. I had no idea.

Also, I can't believe how angry i still am about those who got eliminated this week!

Since I know the director of the Warlow "La Mancha," I can tell you why it failed.  She's the stage director's equivalent of the FAT CONDUCTOR of limited talent and limitless ego.

If anyone hasn't seen, but is interested in The Next Food Network Star, they are showing the entire series tomorrow. It starts at noon here and goes straight through to the finale when we find out the winner. I'm cheering for Amy

Saturday evening greetings!  I am so-o-o-o tired, having gotten up at 5:30 this morning to leave the house at 7.  Picked up another AAUW/Ohio board member in Dayton and drove to Columbus for a 6-hour meeting.  I was home in time to enjoy the nice dinner of chicken spaghetti that DH Richard prepared.

DR Cillaliz - congratulations on the milestone you achieved while I was gone today!

Six hour meeting?  Is that anything like Gilligan's three hour tour?

BK Maybe Ginny has seen something on the rental sites she's been checking out.

Lots of possibilities, but most are booked for the dates DH Richard and I need.  Still haven't had replies from a couple of email inquiries I sent, nor has Shelli from Abode called me back.  Wonder if DR Elmore's fire escape could sleep 2?

There's a company here that accepts the dead equipment.  maybe there is something like that there.  I'd call a computer store and ask them where you can take it.  I have some really old stuff... I've been keeping it for years just in case i ever get a case where there is evidence I need on an old big floppy disk.   I don't think it will ever happen. I should really get rid of all of that

I will check around on Monday. I like to keep an old floppy drive around for such things.

Funny thing, one of the projects I have done this year had to do with locating old 5-1/2 in floppies in computer books in the stacks.

I am going through items to put up on Ebay and some of those itemsa are wonderful old paperbacks from the 30s, 40s, and 50s. I love, love, love the graphics...but my sinuses hate, hate, hate the mustiness of the books. They plug up my head so bad...so I must part with them.

But before I do....here are some choice covers for your visual delight!
