Congratulationson the new couch, George !  It looks very nice and it is very cleverly designed with the storage and the removable arms.  May it give you many years of trouble free use

Thanks!  I hope I get years of use, too. :)

And thanks everyone else for all the nice comments about my new couch. :-*

George: Might I suggest investing in a vinyl sheet, in case you have a guest?

 ;)

I'll get a set just for you!

Extra storage is always good and it is a good place to stash the pillows and blankets for unexpected guests, etc

Exactly!

Oh, George, please! That's your toy box!

Where in tarnation IS everyone?  I'm listening to the master for this title I could release this year - very tempting - it sounds fantastic.

I went to Gelson's deli and got some chicken jambalaya - they've had it for a few weeks now and I've been meaning to try it, so I got a small size of it and some Chinese chicken salad and just et them all up.  The jambalaya was surprisingly good - I'll definitely have that again, and nothing too fattening about it.  The Chinese chicken salad is nothing to write home about but I wrote home about it anyway, just because home hasn't gotten much mail lately.

Good Evening!

It was a very good day of auditions.  And, now, I'm back at my apartment catching up on some of the TV programs I missed last week courtesy of the DVR.

Hey!  I just got a call from Jenny, the stage manager for Reefer Madness! The Musical, and they offered me a role in the ensemble!  I'm happy with that! ;D Rehearsals start next Monday.

I forgot to mention what I watched as I cooked and ate lunch: RAISING THE BAR. I had read about the gay storyline, so I recorded last night's show and watched it today. The show is OK. Not great, thrilling legal drama, but it's OK. Pretty actors to be sure.

I, for one, sure hope it gets renewed (and since TNT reshows it at 1AM, I can always do a late taping). Did you see the earlier episode when the Wilson Cruz (of Rent fame) character was introduced?

On TV Tonight!™

CBS - NCIS, THE MENTALIST, WITHOUT A TRACE
NBC - THE BIGGEST LOSER (two hours), LAW & ORDER: SVU
ABC - DANCING WITH THE STARS (recap show, results show), ELI STONE
FOX - HOUSE, FRINGE

I discovered a way out of my 10PM Eli Stone/Without a Trace/SVU dilemma - NBC replays SVU on Saturdays at 10PM. Without that chance, I would have missed last weeks SVU and Ellen Burstyn's Emmy worthy turn as Elliot's Mother sufferering from a severe case of untreated Bi-Polar disorder.

I don't really have any favorite coleslaws, potato salads or macaroni salads from restaurants.

I haven't been to KFC in years. But when i was a kid i used to love their coleslaw.
