I'm comfortably full from my salad, but if there were to be something yummilicious-looking at the meeting, I still have a wee bit o' room left in the old tummy.

From Cilla:Keith would probably get one, except he said only AT&T offer it.  We don’t have or want AT&T cell service.

If the phone turns out to be fantastic, maybe we will re-think AT&T.  We are pleased with our T-Mobile service but Keith is very unhappy with his Sidekick.

We have never seen them.

We would happily go see the show with company & there is now a non-stop flight from Phoenix to Medford.  Ashland is about a two day road trip away.

Ashland is a two-day road trip from Medford?  On what horse?

And, yes, "The Brain" was accepted for NYMF.  BK will be making phone calls(!) today to get the final details and budget requirements.

Great news!!  This is as far as I've caught up to. ::) I had to read ALL of yesterday's posts today.  I don't like being that far behind, but I'm a busy guy this week...on many fronts. :)

Did I ever tell you I worked with Gerritt Graham? I'm sure he doesn't have good memories of Atlanta...he was wounded in action!

I love Strictly Ballroom:

There are NO NEW federation steps!

Liz: What do I want? I'll tell you what I want! I want Ken Railings to walk in here right now, and say 'Pam Shortt's broken both her legs, and I wanna dance with YOU!'

[the door flies open. It's Ken]

Ken: Pam Shortt's broken both her legs, and I wanna dance with you.

Kylie: That was unexpected.

I LOVE this movie, too!! ;D

It's funny about the film of Godspell - I went to a matinee showing in Westwood when we were in rehearsals for Forget-Me-Not Lane at the Taper.  I had a Sunday off, or maybe I had a late call mid-week.  For some reason I really enjoyed it and found it quite entertaining and liked the location filming.  Then I didn't see it for twenty years, and I was shocked to watch it and realize just how awful it is.  I could barely get through it.  But if I were like all those imdb yokels, I'd go on there and say "MASTERPIECE" - I saw it when it came out and LOVED it, and therefore I LOVE it now."  So much of the moviegoing experience is tied to how you were feeling at the time you saw things - what your mood was, how your life was, etc.

Also, experience as a movie-goer.  If someone doesn't know what a good movie is supposed to be like (and you certainly do, BK), that person doesn't realize that they're really watching crap.

As MR BK wrote......loving Lucy and loving Mame are two different things....

I really like MAME the movie......with all it's faults....it's kind of like loving The Elephant Man...the person NOT the movie....

BUT that said - Rosalind Russell IS Auntie Mame.  The End.  IMHO

DR Jane, I wasn't fishing for an invitation. But thank you. I doubt we'll be up in Oregon in November, but if we happen to be, we'll give you a call!

I know that.  We would enjoy your company :)
