Pretty much.  It was great when we got adjustable flat-screen monitors.

DR MBarnum:  Is "Howard the Duck" a film with which you are familiar?

I think I may have seen a part of it many, many years ago.

I really don't quite know what the DRG thing is all about.  As you know, they announced the title over a year ago, and several release dates came and went.  The only problem was that they'd never actually done the deal - how you announce something before actually signing a contract and paying the advance is anyone's guess.  All I was told was that they were STILL dragging their feet and trying to put on some tracks (maybe a demo?) that MGM didn't own.  The gal at MGM seemed not to want to deal with them anymore and just handed it to me.

Oh, and I just got home after a very long day to find a nice surprise - the latest Kritzerland release on my doorstep.

The DH prepared some wonderful smelling chicken soup today.  I may use that to fortify myself before heading out to dig out the car.  The hideous rental car.

Good Afternoon!

I had a great time baby-sitting this afternoon. Henry is just such a great kid. Always laughing, always smiling, and he's still cute when he cries or has a tantrum - none of which happened this afternoon. Instead, I spent most of time half-watching the "Sponge Bob" movie with a two-and-a-half(!) year old napping next to me. It was very nice just to be "still" again for a little while.

It would be much more fun to stay here and play.  Alas, there is also cleaning to be done before the arrival of an out-of-town guest tomorrow.

I did have lunch out with best friend John. He was home today with his ids, but they decided not to join us.

Did the egos come, though?

I had to head into midtown after Henry's father came home to drop off some music. And since said music has been handed off, I'm currently taking a breather at Starbucks before I head back home.

I'm ordering later in the week, but I also don't think of HHW as a Tupperware party!

What RLP doesn't even mention our soundtrack release?  What a crazy morning it's been - had a whole barrage of rather silly e-mails to deal with (from the author of the long musical) - I was VERY strong.  Then had to proof and do corrections on the Rio package so I can send that for approval, and am now trying to do the same for Anya - needless to say, no long jog today, but I needed a day off.  Then Linda and Kevin will be here at eleven.  Kevin At Eleven - that's the title of my next novel.

DELERUE -- THAT MAN IN RIO

Since you've indicated 80% of the 1000 are already gone, I didn't want to get too excited lest my enthusiasm made them all go away before I got my chance to order one...or two.

Delerue's the MAN.

Hello all.  The snow finally stopped here around 3 PM and the Vixter went back out and cleared all the walkways and the driveway again.

Vixdad will be so pleased when he gets home tonight.

I posted this morning and have seen no responses.  Damn them, damn them to hell.  Or better yet, keep them prisoner for a year, then take them to the basement, shoot them, drown their bodies in acid, and drop them down a well.  ;)

However, per your instructions, I did say it wasn't available to pre-order until next week, so perhaps that put the kibosh on excitement.

I got my Kritzerland CD today! I'll play it first thing in the morning.

I'm trying to get a shopping list together for the market. I need dish washing detergent but I hate to go out in the cold for only that. Hmmm . . .

No new cd's for me I am afraid.  I am not receiving any income these days and am not sure when I will be going back to work.

What?  You're not going to dynamite the well for that final dramatic touch of "overkill"?   ;)

Yes, I know what you mean.  Europa, Ganymede and Callisto hate to go out in the cold for one item, too.

It's always funny to me - they go on and on and on how they MUST have these never before issued on CD releases, then when they find out one is coming, they can't be bothered to talk about it.  I gotta tell you.
