Wasn't Col. Porter Elvis's manager?

No, he was in charge of MASH.

The Holiday Inn in Fairmont, MN is closed for renovation [can you imagine what it looked like BEFORE?], so we are staying at the lovely Comfort Inn.  I think I see a cow out the window...     :)

Well, then what happened to the flowers?!

Girls have picked them.  Every one.

Hey Mikey ~ Glad you're back safe and sound -- and had fun in NYC.  Our late night (or early am) meal at Dupar's after Cabaret with bk in LA was missing something ... you and DR MusicGuy!

I'm getting a little hungryish.  I had two poached eggs and toast at Du-Par's this morning, but that was at nine-fifteen.

Oh, and Richard Berent has signed on to musical direct the fundraiser show in November.

I have yet to crack open my Cult Camp Classics: Sci Fi Thriller set.

Last night I watched the 1950s Columbia film CITY OF FEAR starring Vince Edwards (yowza!) as an escaped con who is carring a container of dangerous radioactive substances, thinking it is heroin,  which could wipe out the population of L.A.

Not a bad movie. My DVR picked up several interesting movies whilst I was away on vacation.

I believe that last weekend, DR Matt H watched an episode of MURDER SHE WROTE with a far more recent performance by Vince Edwards.  Perhaps you might inquire as to the title of that episode.  Mr. Edwards appears wearing nothing but a towel.

With all the news regarding chocolate these days, I finally know why my blood pressure is so low, often barely in the normal range.  Wait that was on light chocolate.  Now I have switched to dark my pressure ihas gone up a bit, almost to a good solid low normal.

Also today, my mom goes in for surgery today and will likely be in the hospital for a few days. She will reside at my sisters while she recuperates.

No, your sources are wrong.  It's from a 1940s revue THE SEVEN LIVELY ARTS.  He still had THE PIRATE, KISS ME KATE, OUT OF THIS WORLD, CAN-CAN, HIGH SOCIETY, LES GIRLS, and SILK STOCKINGS to write.

Well, it was a good story....

Good afternoon dear Esteemed, rested, tummy-settled, bustled, and hustled BK --

Well I am shocked.... oh yes, I am shocked   :o.  Whether or not you choose to wear a bustle to make your shapely butt-cheeks look even shapelier (in your beautiful gown with lovely golden balls) is, of course, strictly your business.

But to have you considering being hustled....... well, I know that when we park at Musso & F it is just a short walk to the site of the old "Gold Cup" cafe.  But "please dear BK, on my knees dear BK" don't go trying to sell your po-po on Selma!

Ah haz spoken !    ;D
