Thanks for the nice comments about our fall photo.

I've just created another Facebook album from our vacation:

Paris 2011

Where is Rudolf Nureyev buried?  Obviously in Paris, but I mean is it a cemetary, a church, or a mausoleum?

DR TCB - I found this:

Rudolf Nureyev Grave

The plaque in my photo is on the house where he lived, right around the corner from our hotel.

I hope the World Series game ends before the start of GRIMM.

"So, you know how NBC has been promoting the debut of "Grimm" -- which is set and films in Portland -- tonight?

And how our stories have talked about its debut tonight?

And how the original premiere date of Oct. 21 got pushed back to tonight, apparently as a Halloween tie-in?

Well, choosing tonight as the "Grimm" premiere date may be a decision that haunts NBC, according to industry buzz.

Because the first episode of the show is now going up against game 7 of the World Series, the same World Series that had a spectacularly dramatic game last night.

James Hibberd at Entertainment Weekly writes:

You know that scene in The Perfect Storm when the meteorologist is looking at his monitor showing all the patterns coming together and is awestruck how the storm systems are combining just right to cause a giant wave to drown George Clooney?

Thanks, Ginny, that looks a little more what I would have expected from Rudy.

Good Afternoon!

...And while they choreograph "Sing For Your Supper"....

I love this song!

;D

(Make sure that you click on all three colors.)

I do enjoy that song.  However, Sirius XM's "On Broadway" has this fascination for the song "To Keep My Love Alive" from THE CONNECTICUTT YANKEE.  How many damn verses does that song have?  It was probably amusing during the course of the show, but as a song on the radio, I have to turn it off!

It depends on who sings it.  Elaine Stritch performed it on PBS and I made a CD with that song and she's a hoot...even just listening to her!  It's just the kind of song that you can't do "straight".

DR Ron has the swelling gone down?

Quite a bit.  There is still some, but I expect a return to normalcy in time for Halloween!

Allegiant Airlines "special" for pre-paying checked luggage.

"When purchased at time of booking, a checked bag fee of up to $34.99 per bag, per segment will apply for the first two(2) checked bags. If purchased at flight check-in, a fee of $35 per checked bag, per person"

I slept late.

We are driving a car with 3 wheels off the cliff and the fourth wheel is barely still on the ground.

I expect sometime in the next two weeks we will go over the cliff.

Good grief, get out of the car!!

Jane, you are not flying Allegiant, are you? Be careful of all the added fees. Every time you click on something it defaults back to something with a fee.

And I do...in more ways than one. ;)

I was in an AIDS benefit years ago (one of many) and the director had someone sing this song but she (the singer) just didn't "get it."  She had a lovely voice, but didn't know how to play the comedy...and there's a lot of comedy to play.  It landed like a brick balloon. :P

GRIMM is going to be one scary series. I like what I've seen so far, but it's creepy.

Right, that is why the locals drive to the airport to pick up the ticket.  How did you like the $.01 savings-lol.

They charged us $13 each to choose seats. And you couldn't buy a seat without choosing one.

I didn't see that on their list of fees.  Did you go to their counter at the airport?

The game is about half way over & it is 8:38 in San Antonio.  I have no idea how long it will take Craig to get from the airport to the River Walk area where he is staying.

Good Evening!

Well...

Again, we had another good orchestra rehearsal today. We got some good detail work done, and, in essence, played through the whole show again today. So... The "band" is back for tech on Wednesday and Thursday. 11:30am-11:00pm both days. -With a two hour dinner break each day. So, unless something goes majorly wrong during the tech, I'm thinking/hoping that we might all get excused early on Thursday.
