Not entirely sure the picture will hold out - it's not pixilating yet, but it's jerky and unstable.  And this is not a short show.

This afternoon, I'll be ushering at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts at a showing of the San Francisco Opera Cinema Series: Madame Butterfly.  It's one in a series of four (I think) filmed operas that are shown this season at WCPA.  I've seen a couple of the HD Met broadcasts and these are just as good. :)

The San Francisco Opera's filmed production of "Madame Butterfly" today was very good!  The guy playing Pinkerton was very nice to look at (click HERE for a video clip). ;)

Ah, the Pinkerton was portrayed by Brandon Jovanovich.

*And Brandon alternated the role with James Valenti.  He's also very nice to look at.  :)

I've made it to commercial two, but signal strength or whatever is going on is not getting better and is probably getting a little worse.

Hard to say if we'll get all the way through.  I hope so, because if we don't I may just smash the DVR :)

I'm watching the recap too, JRand.  I also haven't watched it since the first season so we'll see if I watch the final....I'm more interested in Celebrity Apprentice.

I know there probably aren't that many people who watch both but i can't figure out why they put the CELEBRITY APPRENTICE finale at the same time as the LOST finale. I really want to watch both.

I watched both.  I recorded both and went back and forth.  I just finished

Will we make it to commercial six?  This is as exciting as the final episode of Lost.  I think the little dialogue exchange leading into commercial six is giving an idea of where it's going.

Funny thing is I've probably only seen one or two episodes since the first season and the recap was enough for me to be ready to watch the final.

Interestingly, even when the picture was frozen earlier this evening, the sound was working fine.  So, minimally I can at least HEAR the episode to its conclusion.

If this had been a normal-length Lost, I'd have made it.

I ate my two yummy donuts and am feeling a little gross right now.  But I only had a turkey sandwich and small fries for dinner.

I'm recording it and am making a DVD for a co-worker.  If anyone else wants a copy, let me know. :)
