And I think I will have an ice cream sandwich. Has anyone else tried the Neapolitan ones?

I'm not all that crazy about neapolitan ice cream.

I prefer the all chocolate ice cream sandwiches. The problem is i just want to eat them all!

Lately when they've been on sale they've only had all vanilla or neapolitan. It's not my favorite kind of ice cream. But i do like both chocolate and strawberry (more than vanilla).

I think i would like an ice cream sandwich with my favorite ice creams. That would be tasty.

Chocolate?  Those are usually in specialty ice cream sandwiches.

Do they look like this?

or this?

It's too hot to bake at night. We've been having really sunny and hot days. So i prepared the batter for banana muffins and i will bake them tomorrow morning.

Interesting, if it is hot I often prefer to bake at night so the kitchen cools off before morning.  That way the kitchen doesn't warm up too quickly in the morning.

That's a good idea. But when you say "bake at night" how late are you talking?
;D Often rather late when Keith traveled, more like 5:00 or 6:00 these days.  How early in the morning do you mean?

Guns of Will Sonnett Cast

Walter Brennan as Will Sonnett
Dack Rambo as Jeff Sonnett

The estimable Walter Brennan played the elder (he was 73 at the time) Will Sonnett, whose own son James had left Will's infant grandson, Jeff in his care. 19 years pass and still no James, so both Will and Jeff set out to find him. They run into many people who claim to know the elusive James, who has become a gunslinger. Some folks speak well of him and others ill. They never found him. However, in the last original episode they meet a man who claims to have killed James. Live by the gun...

Trivia - Dack Rambo was the twin brother of Dirk Rambo, who died in 1967 in a fire.
Dack Rambo died in 1994 of AIDS.

Most definitely Dack.  :)

George must have shamed me into viewing some culture.  So, I watched CARMEN on PBS with Elina Garanca in the title role.  Judging by his reactions during the curtain call, the tenor seemed to believe that all of the cheers were for him.

I couldn't decide what to have for dinner tonight, so I am having a pint of Ben & Jerry's Karamel Sutra, instead.

I guess in a slow theater news cycle, the story of the audience getting boisterous at FENCES with Denzel Washingotn & Viola Davis seems to be popping up quite a bit.  i don't know how different this is from what would happen at the James Earl Jones - Mary Alice version of FENCES in the 1980's - but it seems that two parodies are called for (based logically as a parody of Billy Joel's "An Innocent Man" mirroring  the famous "You are a  womanless man" line in FENCES, which always gets a raucous reaction.

the boisterous and shorter "Michael & Susan" version  [named as parodies of Riedel and Haskins]

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3j7E2z90eFY

and a more straightforwardly sung version (a little longer, the scratch demo, which has some old lyrics but is more musical somehow)

Back from Nightmare Alley - like most things that use "Alley" in their names, it was indeed a nightmare.  Horrible.  But we had a great time with Alet after the show and I knew many people involved with the production and had nice chats with all of them.  After dinner, we walked across the street to Stan's Donuts, one of the best donut jernts anywhere, and I got my favorite - chocolate with peanut butter inside.

Had to do a little more editing notes for a bonus track on our next release, which is a BIG release.  I've been going in and out of the den - I must say that whatever I thought this two-hour thing was going to be, Lost-wise, it's really kind of boring.
