I must say that cat has a ton of energy.  I think he'll mellow out when I can finally get him neutered.

We had a cat that did the opposite after he was neutered.  Vibes it works!

He's also wound up because he's been in that room alone for the past three weeks.  I will say he goes down the steps a lot slower after that first trip that left him plopped on the floor.  He backs down whenever one of the girls hisses and growls at him.  He'll be fine

Since he doesn't jump on them I'm sure they will all be fine together, eventually :)

He was very good, but Boo was really upset, so I let him wander for awhile and put him back upstairs.  Now both girls are sniffing all over the living room.  That's what I need them to do. They need to get used to his scent.

I have never heard about a suit against a child.  Against the parents, yes, the 6 year old, no

I wonder how that would play out if it ever went to court.

What, the pit bull ban?

Yes.

There is too much "banning" going on in this country.

That shocked me, and the kid was only four at the time.

Oh it's terrible, they've even put animals to death because they weren't registered.   They originally didn't allow people to find out of town homes for the dogs.  They were going to repeal it, but then amended it so that dogs at the pound and others can at least have someone out of town adopt the dogs.

My Amazon orders of The Angel of Death Row by Andrea Lyon - the first woman to handle death penalty cases and the woman who is responsible for me getting on the NACDL board.  And The Confession by John Grisham arrived today.  After I hear the news I'm going to sign off and read

My library seems to have lost 3 of my movie reservations. :(

It sort of sucks because we're not allowed to reserve movies, unless we suggest them. But we have to do this on slips of paper. I guess it's a miracle they don't lose more of the slips.

It will probably turn out okay. Every other time this has happened they've always given me the reservation (since they know me and I keep a detailed list of everything i request). it's just a pain.

There was no result today.  So there will be another hearing- one at least, I guess.

And I thank my fellow HHW-ers for the vibes, as always.
