Well, you've read the notes, the notes were healthy and tasted like rancid nutmeats, and now it is time for you to post until the rancid cows come home.

I started last night and will move onto the weekend to relieve myself of most of my dvds & blu rays.

Keeping my favorites and then going back and see what I really want. Then I'll try to sell them on Ebay.

This has been harder to do over the years, so I will try to sell them as one package. This way one person will get the whole lot and I don't have to deal with multiple sales.

next up will be cds and books (The books I will probably donate to the Stonewall Library.) I will keep all my rare first edition books written by Bruce Kimmel.

No plans for the weekend.

The weather has turned cooler and we will have temps in the 50s all weekend.

At least we don't go there late at night!

Good morning, all! The alarm went off at 6:15, and the Oaf Above Me arrived home at almost exactly the same time.  He's been wandering around above me for the past 30 minutes as I sort laundry, which will go into the washers in about ten minutes from now. When I return from the laundromat, I will cart these nine cartons - I packed another one last night - into the hall for Fed Ex pickup.

Following that, i've got some mopping and vacuuming to do before I start typing up notes for both the Herbert recording and the Herbert shows.

The other day I got this "emergency" email from Ann Hampton Callaway about a concert with the Minnesota Symphony and possible work; I've emailed her twice and received no response. I guess it wasn't that huge an emergency, but I am a bit puzzled by her disappearance.

Vegan fare should not be called food.

Sorry to hear about the demise of DR LAURA'S caterpillars - most distressing.....and DR MBARNUM's crushed posters and the planter he mailed, more distress!

But reading about Little Ricky's adventures helped to balance things out....and then I watched PWOJECT WUNWAY to see the most outrageous win in 8 seasons, and have to rethink watching the next cycle.

I never watched a single episode of this last run of PROJECT RUNWAY.  I don't know why.  I just didn't.

I was going to start in on the Sondheim book last night at bedtime, but the print is indeed very small and there's a LOT of it and I was getting bleary-eyed.  I'll need to get a brighter bulb for my nightstand lamp.

On the train I've began reading THE GIRL WHO PLAYED WITH FIRE which has gotten off to an interesting start.

BK, do not kid yourself that all health food is low-calorie.  It isn't.  Just because it tastes bad, doesn't mean it's good for you.  Go out and have a healthy slab of bacon.  In fact, put bacon in everything you eat today.  Bacon makes everything taste better!

DRs Jane and Cillaliz were mentioning the 3rd Millenium movie.  My library has not gotten any new movies in months (because they spend all their movie budget earlier in the year). But for some reason yesterday they got like 20 new movies. And Millenium 3 is one of them. Yeah! I reserved that one. So depending on how many people reserved it before me I should have it next week!

Friday morning greetings!  I seem to have mastered the art of sleeping late...

Anyway, Richard and I are going to a Miami University Men's Glee Club concert tonight.  We always enjoy these programs and he gets to sing when they invite the alumni on stage for the fight song and alma mater and some other favorites.

It's funny, but I had a conversation just yesterday with someone about vegan food and how dreadful it is. We were lamenting something called parsnip bacon that was mentioned in the new Food & Wine. At least this dish wasn't trying to be bacon, merely something like a chip and it wasn't tortured into being something it was not.
