Managed to sneak in one photograph.  I would rather post larger ones for the next three. We shall have to wait.

Tom, if you e-mail them to me, I can post them to my Photobucket account and link them here. :)

I wasn't able to go to my cousin's funeral, but the music was all Grateful Dead.

An organised elderly lady telephoned me a few weeks back to provide the song she wanted for her own funeral (no date set) - Englebert Humperdinck singing "Im Leavin' You"

Does anyone know anything about credit card machines.  We're trying to figure out how to do our silent auction payments, and I thought we could just set up an account, rent three machines, and do it.  But, apparently it's more difficult than that.  It's a one-time event and we don't really need them after that - any ideas?

Yes - ask a local merchant or nonprofit that DOES already have the capacity to run credit cards if they will allow you to use their account to run your charges through, with their machines. They may or may not want a small percentage of your take to cover the bookkeeping headache.

I saw the podiatrist this morning.  Gosh, there are more injured areas on my foot than I realized.  I could have a combination of pulled ligaments, & possibly, tiny splintered bones.  He needs to see the x-rays to determine the bones.  The same x-rays I asked multiple times if they would be sent to him & no one was concerned cuz they didn’t show anything.   Just about the first thing he said is sometimes the radiologist miss these.

He gave me a regime of soaking my foot in cold, than warm water, for an alternating series of minutes.  I’m to try and take it easy.  I return on the 1st for an ultra-sound which he will compare to the x-rays.

off to find two bowls i can set up for the water treatment, just waiting until i'm done icing my wrist & have the splint back on.  this is so much fun ;D

Oh, no! If it ain't the dawg, it's YOU... jeez... feel better, honey.

My friendly (and friend) Cd retailer was here  visiting us the other day. He said the Cast recording in its entirety is not worth bothering about!

Hmmm...I've been thinking about that.  As much as I love the idea of a stage musical of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, since none of the songs are newly written for the show, I had pretty much decided not to try to get it again.  I think I would've enjoyed having it, but I know I wouldn't have loved it. :-\

Der Brucer is watching one of his favorite shows.  It stars Jennifer Love Hewett as a young woman who gives a little "eek" every time someone pinches her on the tush.  It's called "The Goosed Whisperer."

Thank you George.

A feet first entry of the joey into the world.  I have a very simple camera without much zoom capacity. The Mother was obviously proud to show me her youngster.
