I had an interesting evening of viewing pleasures.

I began finishing disc one from season two of GREY'S ANATOMY. One of those episodes included the riveting episode with George performing heart surgery in a stalled elevator, one of my favorites of the entire season.

Sadly, no shirtless moments in the movie for either brother.  However, Madamoiselle Huppert does go topless.

Next, I watched THE BLACK ROSE. It's an entertaining (but too long) adventure film with the gorgeous Tyrone Power (who is about 15 years too old for the part). The Technicolor on the transfer varies in quality. Much of it is deeply saturated and terrific, but there are a couple of places where it's pale and other spots where the color looks plugged up and smeared.

I'd probably have been more enthusiastic about the film were it not saddled with the completely untalented and uncharismatic Cecile Aubrey. Was she another of Zanuck's "proteges"?

I completed my evening of viewing with the first episode in Season Four of ANGEL. Entitled "Deep Down," it rescued Angel from the watery grave his evil son had condemned him to. And poor John Rubenstein finally lost his head over his job - literally!

I dunno.  But there's lots and lots and lots of mirrorballs from what I understand.

Hey! Jérémie goes all-less in one of the pics I linked! :P

Ok! I'll "keep" my fake-blond and leave Yannick to both of you!

Xana! Xana!
Xana Xana Xana-du!

It's a silly little bit of melody,
Sounds so soothing and appealing to me,

It goes

Xana! Xana!....

Are there any shirtless moments in XANADU?

For a moment I thought you had asked "are there any shitless moments in Xanadu," to which I was going to respond, "From what I've heard, no."

I probably won't be awake until page 11, so how about a XANADU megamix dance?

Xanadu - Xanadu (now we are here)
In Xanadu
Xanadu - Xanadu (now we are here)
In Xanadu

Xanadu your neon lights will shine
For you Xanadu

The love, the echoes of long ago
You needed the world to know, they are in Xanadu

The dream that came through a million years
That lived on through all the tears
It came to Xanadu

A million lights are dancing and there you are
A shooting star, an everlasting world and you're
Here with me eternally

Xanadu - Xanadu (now we are here)
In Xanadu

Now that I'm here, now that you're near in Xanadu

You can substitute "cheese fondue" for "Xanadu" in the song, and it still makes perfect snese.  :)

You mean... perfect cheese!
