Scream Shout Knock Yourself Out.

They don't write lyrics like that anymore.

Yes, the Heifetz concert, certainly one of the more significant.  Both DR Jane and I were in attendance, back when we were wee tiny little DRs.

I told Pug that I'd call around noon to find out if she needs me to help clean up and how the rest of the evening went.  I certainly don't expect anyone to still be there, but we'll see how much is cleaned up after they've left.

I met Pug down at the theater and it was pretty much cleaned up.  I did (finally) swap out the light fixture for the bathroom.  That now looks very nice.  Overall, it was a success!  We brought in just over $100!  We'll definitely keep doing this...just maybe not overnight.  Pug told me that it didn't end until about 4:00!  Yikes!  Next time, we'll just advertise a double (or triple) feature.

UPDATE.

The doctor shot my knee with cortisone. I guess no operation is in store has the tear could have occurred before the current issue. I am to ice it for the next couple of days. Continue to keep off my feet for the next while.

Had the MRI on the shoulder. Results on Tuesday. Doctor on Wednesday.

I just purchased a book for my Nook and was surprised I needed to update my credit card which expired in January.  I really don't buy books very often-thank you Oregon eBook library.

That reminds me.  I can't get any Kate Morton novels.  DR George do you show any of hers in the system as an option?

Jane, my library doesn't have any Kate Morton e-books.  But her titles are available.  You should be able to do a search with the option "Additional Titles to Recommend."  That should bring up many, Many, MANY (that's THREE manys) titles that are available through OverDrive that you library doesn't own.  Have you tried that before?

None of her books are showing up using the advance search and that surprised me.  I wonder why you see them and I don't.  I'm going to try again.

It could be that your library administrators have turned off that option.  Maybe they don't want to be inundated with requests for purchase and they only have so much of a budget...maybe.

DR George I appreciate your checking for me.  I double checked using my Nook and Kate Morton does not show up doing the advanced search.

I have a lot of titles I have requested.  One I recommended oddly is in my holds yet the book is not available.

Thanks, this is interesting.  I bet there are tons more books on here than show up on my advance search.  I will refer to this link when my library doesn't offer a book.

Yup.  It was a long time before I was able to find a book to recommend.  Once one book worked I was able to get a good number of them.  I suspect the option wasn't truly working as it should have been.  A number of the books have become available but I am waiting for far more than half of them to come in.

Had a fun stumble-through - some fumfered lyrics, but I'd rather have that happen at the stumble-through than the show.  Show structure works well and the cast is just great.  This is the first show we've had in ages without any young people - it's a nice change, but on the other hand, I just miss their fun energy.

You know, I'm beginning to envy DR vixmom the Lawn Guyland scene.  Just a little bit.  There's a lot available there.

Not that the other close and distant suburbs of NYC don't share that.  But I have a feeling there's something about the Guyland density and layout that's especially conducive to this.
