I know of which you speak.  I was thinking to myself to look for a nice recording of Romeo and Juliet.

If you want the complete ballet on 2 CDs, I recommend either the cleveland symphony with Lorin Maazel or the Royal Philharmonic conducted by Ashkenazy, who's got a real flair for Prokofiev.

TOD:

I can't remember seeing an X rated movie in a movie theatre.  I probably didn't see one until there were video rental stores.

I think the first R rated movie I saw was DAY OF THE LOCUST.

I cannot remember the title of the first XXX movie I saw in a porn theatre.  I was a little bit--er, mind altered and extremely nervous about sneaking in (I was only 16.)  I remember it had something to do with the adventures of a couple of babysitters.

Isn't that sad?

Not as sad as Mamie Van Doren in the movie DR MBARNUM is watching!  Thanks for the R/J recording suggestion!

When I stopped the tape for a moment I found Lisa Gaye on my TV screen telling Van Williams that she loves bonefish!?!
Is that a double entendre?

DakotaCelt did you send Walmart a letter with the names of the offending employees?  I might have slugged the first employee upon being grabbed.

Good Evening!

And the Ice Dancing continues...

Hmm...

There are times tonight when I'm not bothered by the commentator's comments.

Thanks you, DR Elmore.  I will look into these on Amazon and decide.

DR JRand - If you'd like a single-disc recording of the Prokofiev "Romeo & Juliet", I'm rather partial to the suite that Michael Tilson put together and recorded with the San Francisco Symphony on RCA.  And it's been reissued as part of their mid-priced series.

Otherwise, I agree with DR elmore about the Lorin Maazel recording.  It's a complete recording, and I believe that it is part of Decca/London's 2-for-1 series.

Thanks DRJOSE....I am taking the list to Half Price Books on Wednesday and then if I am not successful there, across the street to Best Buy.  The first one I see wins!

With all the talk earlier about Tuna Glop, I am sorry I didn't keep the recipe. Can someone either repeat it or remind me what day it was posted and I can go find it? Thanks
