Everything called a "pavilion" out here seems to be a strip mall.

Do you remember a TV miniseries called "The Far Pavillions"?

I remember the title, but I don't recall if I every saw it.

Obviously, if I did, it didn't make much of an impression.

Beautiful flowers, DerBrucer.

I agree!  They're lovely. :)

For those who think my shameless shilling of eBates is ridiculous, let me simply say I just got notification my check for $282.44 (for the past quarter) has just been mailed to me.  This is ALL for day to day stuff I would have purchased anyway.

Just finished lunch which I prepared using a newly learned culinary skill:

To cut nice even bread slices for sandwiches from a whole baked loaf, turn the loaf top (round side) down before slicing.

der Brucer

Really.  I shall try to remember that.

I spoke to dear William F.Orr today -- he is in his last couple of weeks or college courses which means he is busy thinking up horrifically difficult math equations for Final exams - such as finding the circumference of a pavilion-  but as soon as he is done torturing the students I hope he will be back

I believe someone this morning made an absolutely hilarious reference to pavilions being far, and yet his incredible humor went unnoticed.

Thanks, Vixmom!  I don't know what dessert we'll have, but the family is getting together on Saturday and ordering pizza from a local pizza parlour called Dirty Dave's.  They're the best!
