DR elmore - Just in case you have to head out later, remember that President Obama is in town today. There's bound to be some traffic and transit snarls.

To the tune of 'Maria':

Pavilion
It's better than just a gazebo

Or to the other "Maria":

How do you solve a problem like pavilion?

I'd like a pavilion of pancakes with extra syrup.

I'm not leaving the neighborhood today.

I did find, on a nonpaying site that forces me to go to a paying site for further info, that my friend may have died in Clinton, Michigan, in 1972. I guess I need to look for an online source for Michigan newspapers to find an obituary.

And now...

Since I'm really thinking I forgot to write something on my calendar, I'm gonna do some double-checking, and then head out for a bit.

Pavilions...

DR ELMORE here is one source for the SS Death Index

Thanks, DR JRand60!

Wow! What a surprise! Neither of my parents are dead! I was sure they were.

I misread your last sentence as "I sure wish they were." Sorry!

LOL! I'm sure you were shocked to think you heard me say something like that.

Say it isn't so department:  Variety is reporting that Frank Wildhorn's new musical "Bonnie and Clyde" is Bway bound.

It was nice to see Mark and Amy at the Gardenia.  The key change line they're remembering is actually part of the song in which it was used - no the missed key change was in Brand New World - he actually changed keys one verse too early - unbelievable.  But he was off the entire night - thankfully no one but the singers and Adryan Russ and I really was all that aware of it.  Can't use him again.  Of all the MDs we've had, the only one that's been perfect in every way - as accompanist, to work with me on arrangements, and for ease is John Boswell, and frankly I wish he could do them all.

Tonight we block the final scene - I have my lines.....we shall see what happens when everyone is there!

And I spoke too soon - Mrs Shinn and I have now been put into the end of Shipoopi!

Do you have a pavilion, George?

Not personally, but there is the Marcus Pavilion at St. Martin's University in Lacey.  Does that count?

;)
