Jose - you bring the cookies, I'll buy the dinner!

Miss Jessica Rush won't be coming to audition - she got A Tale Of Two Cities, the musical being designed by our very own Mr. Tony Walton (we have his two assistants designing The Brain, although they're also working on his show, too).

WOD:

I admit I have a problem.  But only in highly specific and selected areas.  Clothing, for example, holds no sway over me at all.   And I guess it shows!
No clothing purchases?  At all?  Don't you feel particularly chilly during the winter?

Film at eleven?   :D

An email notice form Amazon:

We've noticed that customers who have purchased or rated The Brain From Planet X (2006 Original Los Angeles Cast) by Bruce Kimmel have also purchased Keys of Time: My Favorite Piano, Volume 1 by John-Paul Kaplan. For this reason, you might like to know that Keys of Time: My Favorite Piano, Volume 1 will be released on August 28, 2007.

So who are you people who have purchased this? And is it any good?

Well... Sounds like a piano anthology to me.  In any case...  Whenever I get those notices from Amazon, i just wish they would "simplify" it by saying:

Since you're a gay man, and we've noticed that other gay men have purchased....  ;D

And, yes, I'm still here...  I decided to clean the bathroom.  Just because.  So, I did.

And I also ended up having to return a phone call from a sort of well-known General Manager/Producer who's asked if I could assist with some upcoming auditions.  He remembered me from a past project, and got a hold of my contact information.  It will just be a short work session, but, still, it's nice to be remembered.  -And since this producer has at least three major projects in gestation right now, well... :)

That's the punchline of an old joke that I've forgotten.  Anyone remember how it goes?

Something to do with a pirate, I think...

Little Billy had a birth defect, he only had one eye. His family didn't have money for a fancy prostheses, so the Doc fixed him up with a nice painted WOODEYE.

So the High School dance came up, and Billy was hanging around hoping for a dance. He was feeling bad, and then he saw little Suzie with the CLEFT PALATE all by herself.

Billy walked over and asked "Suzie, would you like to have a dance?"

Suzie was terribly excited, and cried out "Would I? Would I? Would I?"

Billy gnashed his teeth, kicked at the dirt, and blurted out "Harelip, harelip, harelip!"

Very warm outside, and I got hot under the collar when I got the mail, and I didn't have the Blu-ray discs what should have been here YESTERDAY. Argh! I get SO tired of inadequate mail delivery service.

What GREAT news. However, with ratings topping the list for cable shows week after week, was it ever in doubt?

DR Edi, what is the production schedule for THE CLOSER. I mean, are they still filming this season's episodes or was that finished some time ago?

I could have sworn it involved a pirate, though...

I did begin my afternoon finishing the season two episode of THE CLOSER that I started last night - the one about the drug addict sister who thought she was under attack by drug dealers. Always enjoy this episode and am sure I'll see it several more times before we have any hope of getting Season 3 in a box set.
