singdaw - thanks for that USPS information.

Is anyone else having trouble understanding this UPS Innovations Program, where they split the shipping between themselves and the USPS?  These packages that I ordered seem to be flipping back and forth between the two, instead of being delivered to me.

Woodeye?  Woodeye?

That's the punchline of an old joke that I've forgotten.  Anyone remember how it goes?

Something to do with a pirate, I think...

Unfortunately, I do.

Nope.  The story of my life is Crumbs in My Bed.

Is that your pet name for Mr. Barnum?

DR MBarnum is neither a Crumb nor an occupant of my Serta.  I'm certain.

Penny just called to stop by for a short visit.  Unfortunately neither Keith nor I are up to a visitor.  Keith's back is out & he can barely move.  At the moment I'm feeling better, sadly that won't last it's time for my next drink.

Our DR Elmore is far too young for Mr. Barnum.

Jane, dear, how very sad.  Can I suggest a couple of 12-step programs for you?

Good evening all. Busy day and with many many thanks to DR Jose, I have our Legally Blonde tickets arranged. Now I can stop planning for awhile and know that it will all be great.

And, since I just realized the point of this quote, I'm grateful that even though I was never a habitue of Gold's Gym or any other, the fact that I'm 10 to 20 years below the age of his dating range keeps him from chasing me around the apartment when he visits!

Good Evening!

...So after running around midtown for a bit taking care of some errands, I decided to explore a bit of Koreatown.  -Well, Koreatown in Manhattan is basically 33rd Street between 5th and 6th Avenues.  However, there's a lot of stores, restaurants, lunch counters, etc., crammed into that strip.  I found the kim-bop place that just got a write-up in the Times, as well as a new Korean buffet.  -Oh, and some new bar/restaurant that seemed to have items on its menu from all over the globe: Italian appetizers, Japanese entrees and German desserts.  ???  It looked like a nice place, however.

Der Brucer is currently watching eps of Mad Men that he's recorded.  I'm not watching, but listening from the next room can say the dialogue is certainly interesting.  And it isn't filled with people screaming at each other.

Thanks, DR FJL! I'm getting really sleepy and forgot to mention that. Thanks for your phone call. Monday night is wonderful!

DR Matt H, what did you decide about HOT FUZZ?

OMG! The I 35W bridge over the river in Minneapolis collapsed during rush hour.  All the tv news stations are covering it http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20079534/

I shall now be on my way to sup and then see Jersey Boys, so notes will probably be up late, as will I.

In better news, it seems that the actress is very interested in doing our show, and she's just going to get a CD and listen, but she loved the script and the part.

Hello, fellow Dear Readers. I spent the day lining the shelves in DR MusicGuy's kitchen. He says hello, by the way. His computer isn't hooked up yet.

Then I made a quick pass through Macy's, just to see what was new in The Cellar, and they had all the new Martha Stewart Cookware out on display.  Some pretty good stuff at some decent prices.  And most of it in Martha's signature Robin's Egg Blue.

And I saw MusicGuy's organ. And I have to say it is quite an impressive organ.

Der Brucer has changed over to the news - horrible about the bridge, even more so that this is happening during rush hour.

(This is now national news - der B has tuned in on FoxNews.)
