Why does DR Cason keep auditioning for shows where the actors remove their clothing?

Why should YOU complain about it?! ;)

BTW, DR MATTH, did you notice my DVD selection? Yes, BRUTE FORCE. I quite agree with your comments. I saw the older DVD, though, not the new Criterion. Quite an engaging film.

I did notice it, and I'm glad you liked it as much as I did.

What amazes me is how this film escaped me for so many decades. I had NEVER seen it before a week or so ago.

I agree about car expenses. When it is going to cost several thousand dollars to fix problems, then it's time for a new car.

I began my viewing this afternoon finishing up the GREY'S ANATOMY clip show. Amazing that seeing just brief moments from the show could still elicit tears as if I were watching the entire episodes these moments came from. Grand.

Yes, I recorded the UGLY BETTY clip show, too, and I did enjoy it. I enjoyed even more seeing the writers and producers commenting on their characters and their philosphy behind writing the characters the way they had done it. Different from the usual clip show and VERY informative and entertaining.

When I finished, the Stanley Donen/Private Screenings interview was playing on TCM. I had this saved on the DVR for months, but when I read that it was going to be included on the upcoming DVD of ROYAL WEDDING, I deleted it. Still, I watched about half of it again this afternoon and liked seeing it again.

The completed the afternoon with CLICK! It's an Adam Sandler comedy, so right off the bat it's got an uphill battle to win me over. This had some clever ideas and a couple of funny scenes, but then it goes all sentimental and allegorical and I lost interest. I finished it, but it's certainly not something I'd want to see ever again, so it got deleted from the DVR.

As for All About Us... I really am excited about playing the run of the show, but I'm really[/b] excited that I get to sleep in tomorrow morning!  I really could use a full night's sleep.  Eight, nine... possibly ten hours would be really helpful right now.

*Alas, there is that one pesky, dreaded 10:30AM matinee on Tuesday, April 24, but I may splurge on a hotel room the night before in lieu of having to get up in time to grab the 8:00 train from Grand Central.  -Plus, we get a nice staff rate at the Westport Inn.  In any case...

Employment is good.

Oh, I thought you were implying another kind of match between Lucy and Sally, if you get what I thought was your drift.

:)

I believe a Jerry Springer guest once described that as "bumping pocketbooks".

...And I have to say it was quite "interesting" playing auditions with this morning with some "clogged ears" - my sinuses are crazy right now.  -Especially with Rob Berman behind the table.  And Jerry Zaks. :-\

However, I believe I did rather well, and it turned out that Warren Carlyle's assistant was a near and dear friend of mine.  :)

...And there were even a couple of "Grease Academy" graduates in attendance this morning.  It's nice to know that life goes on after reality TV.

Thank you Matt H, MBarnum, and Miss Karen.

We used to watch MEDIC every week (Saturday night, I believe).  Isn't it amazing that when the proper terms are used without embarrassment, they no longer sound shocking.

I won't have to fight MISS KAREN for it, will I?
