Well, you've read the notes, the notes were Windy, and now it is time for you to post until the windy cows come home.

I see you now, BK -- and speaking of which, I better get my tail on the 101 if I want to get over into the vicinity of Madilyn Clark Studios soon...

Every time I hear the term "the 101" (which is not the way we say it in Washington State ;)), I think of the song with the same name recorded by Lorraine Feather (who also recorded " Not While I'm Around" on BK's "Sweeney Todd In Jazz").  She wrote new lyrics to music by Duke Ellington and came up with a whole album of really great songs.  If you click HERE[/url], you can see the very imaginative music video of the song "The 101" (you will need to have Quicktime installed).  I love this song and this album!  She also has a CD of Fats Waller tunes with new lyrics written by her. :)

One of my damp but undamaged packages today was the LP of The Drowsy Chaperone.  I can't find the serial #, perhaps some DR can give me a clew where to find it.  But it does prominently say SECOND PRESSING on the back in the bottom left hand corner.

My LP copy of The Drowsy Chaperone has the limited edition number on the back in the bottom left hand corner.  Maybe the "second pressing" copies aren't numbered and not limited.  I wonder if there is anything else different from the original pressing.  Anyway, here's a scan of the number from my copy:

Thanks, DR George.  That is exactly where my copy says "Second Pressing", so I'm thinking that this new batch of Drowsy LPs is not numbered.

bk, I love Susannah.  Do you have the recording with Studer/Ramey/Hadley, or the older recording with Phyllis Curtin?

Good morning DRs Edisaw and Dingsaw

Who's to say you shouldn't be wishing me goodnight?

Actually, the cat that wakes me up too early just got me up an extra hour early,  So I will try to go back to bed!

Goodnight, DR Tomovoz!

Friday morning greetings!  I'm being quiet and letting DH Richard sleep as late as possible before we leave in a couple of hours for his shoulder surgery.  He told me to tell you all how much he appreciates your vibes.

Media check - CD(car) - audiobook:  Elizabeth Edwards' Saving Graces, narrated by Bernadette Dunne.  On my way home yesterday I was listening to the chapter about the death of their teenage son and decided that one shouldn't listen to sad books while driving.  I needed windshield wipers for my eyes  :'(
