I'm up.  I was hoping to sleep a little later but I guess that didn't happen.

I actually got eight hours of sleep last night. It's the first time that's happened to me in many, many weeks.

I'll be heading downstairs in a bit after I tidy up a few computer matters so I can get laundry ready for washing and then start thinking about what I'm going to have for lunch.

I guess I will have to reread all of yesterday's posts.  I somehow missed the story about Skip's new Kritzerland release.

Is this due to your physcal therapy? I hope!

I've just spent almost forty-five minutes responding to a few e-mails.  I will only say that the creative team of the long musical are expert in pushing each other's buttons, and it mostly falls to me to be the person who has to calm the waters.  Each of them has a different personality and seems unable to stop their behavior.  It's fascinating.

Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up... And it is indeed a nice cool, basically-Fall-like morning here in New York City.  Of course, I could have headed out for a nice brisk walk when I woke up around 8:30, but I opted for the ever-present and still as enjoyable Plan B: staying in bed, listening to NPR for a couple of hours. :)

DR MattH - Ah, yes, the "Foam Roller/Bolster".  -Who know that something with "foam" in its name could be so "uncomfortable".  -However, for working knots and tension out of the hips, it's one of the easiest to use and most effective pieces of therapeutic fitness equipment.

Here's some info about the CD mentioned in the Variety article:

"The plan is to record before the end of the year.  Rebecca Luker, Julia Murney and Barbara Walsh are among those who've already said yes to doing the CD.  The music of the songs will all be by Skip, but the lyrics will be variously by Skip, Richard Engquist, Ellen Fitzhugh, Amanda Green, Ellen Schwartz and David Spencer."

I'm actually sort of looking forward to The Emmys.  If all the "leaks" are true, there should be some good segments between the award presentations.  I'm looking forward to "Dr. Horrible" making a primetime, network TV appearance!

*And since I have a bit of "busy work" to take care of tonight, I can take care of all of that during the commercials and speeches. ;)

And now I need to get ready to head out to meet up with some folks for a sort of "foraging brunch" in Chinatown.

Laters...

I got up reasonably early this morning, considering the long day I had yesterday.
Invited the neighbors over for Blueberry Pancakes, which I did indeed make from scratch (even separating my yolks from my whites) according to Grandma's handed-down unwritten recipe.
Now I have laundry washing in the laundry room.
I've separated the good photos from the bad photos from yesterday's excursion.  I will probably go and get those good ones printed.
Though it is only nearing 2pm, I already feel as if I've put in full day's work.
Dixie Bell must feel the same for she is lying near the computer snoring away.

I also forgot to answer yesterday's TOD. We did not normally have dessert after dinner, but on those occasions when we did it was either jello or chocolate pudding. Chocolate pudding was my favorite, although I liked the jello as well.

BK, I knew that the books wouldn't be sent right away and that was fine with me. I thought after reading your post about DR DAW posting a review that maybe they had already been sent out. That's why I asked.  Looking forward to reading it

My mom made grasshopper pie.

You could adapt the recipe to use crawdads.
