Today I drove to Tacoma to attempt the nearly impossible task of vacuuming my old place while riding my scooter.

I've been binge watching "The Name Of The Rose."  Up to episode 6 with 2 more to go.  John Turturro is really good in the lead.

The problem, first of all, was that the guys hired to clean out the rest of the junk were suppose to tidy up the place before they left.  However, an apparent misunderstanding about whether they were getting a tip caused them to walk out without doing any clean-up.

Wouldn't that be like playing polo with only one hand?

So, normally when I vacuum the carpet I sit in my wheelchair.  However, transporting the vacuum cleaner out to the car and also into the apartment is next to impossible to do in the chair.

Moving the vacuum with the scooter is much easier to do, but trying to vacuum while on the scooter is best highlighted on AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS.

I opted for the scooter, loaded it in the car, and drove in to Tacoma.  However, when I got to my former apartment, I found that the management had already taken over the apartment.

So, I loaded the vacuum back into the car and drove back home.

Boy, you can't win.  See, if you just given me a holler, I'd been there to help you out or at least kick "helpers" around.  But nooooo, Mr. Independence had to do everything himself!

How does management take over the apartment already?  Does that mean they're gonna do the clean-up?

I know.  It is just really hard to admit that I can’t still do everything on my own.

I am listening to the Lincoln Center Cast Recording of SOUTH PACIFIC.  I love that revival.

He is doing a lot better.  I think having me with him all the time makes it easier for him to adjust to a new environment.

It's a mini series based on a 1980 novel by Umberto Ecco.  Murder in a medieval abbey during a conference of different groups of monks.  One monk is the only one to figure out whodunit.

I'll probably take a quick hot shower after I post, then I'll try to be in bed by one.

I don't know about you, but it appears that in just 94 posts I will achieve a rather startling achievement.

Is that part of the Brother What’s His Name series of books?
