DR François said he would try and send rain. He's not back on line until January 19th.

Thank you François (for when you've caught up).

Can any DR suggest a song which references "February".  I have "Amerian Pie" and Songs such as "Calendar Girl" and "Moments to Remember".

November was a problem. I avoided "Guns 'N' Roses" and their "November Rain".  "The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald" references November in most verses.

I love compiling  "themed" CDs!

Sandwiches are made to be broken.
This could become the catch phrase of 2007.

I don't understand this song, but it seems to have been recorded by Josh Groban:

February Song

Where has that old friend gone
Lost in a February song
Tell him it won't be long
Til he opens his eyes, opens his eyes
Where is that simple day
Before colors broke into shades
And how did I ever fade
Into this life, into this life

And I never want to let you down
Forgive me if I slip away
When all that I've known is lost and found
I promise you I, I'll come back to you one day

Morning is waking up
And sometimes it's more than just enough
When all that you need to love
Is in front of your eyes
It's in front of your eyes

And I never want to let you down
Forgive me if I slip away
Sometimes it's hard to find my ground
Cause I keep on falling as I try to get away
From this crazy world

And I never want to let you down
Forgive me if I slip away
When all that I've known is lost and found
I promise you I, I'll come back to you one day

Where has that old friend gone
Lost in a February song
Tell him it won't be long
Til he opens his eyes
Opens his eyes

Sandwiches were really yummilicious.  What a good choice!  Cole slaw was okay.  On that other board, one of the Dreamgirls fanatics who must post every box office murmer has posted the Variety stats for the weekend.  It did something like 18mil.  And then he posts a cumulitive total of 38M.  In what universe?  Do they think we forget what they've posted before?  It most certainly hadn't done twenty million pre Christmas.  They did exactly this sort of lying on POTO - three months later the gross was LESS than they'd originally reported three months prior - that's WITH the three months' worth of business.  Maybe it will be a box-office smash, maybe it won't, but this kind of horse manure is amazing to me.

But, Dreamworks has to do this - they NEED this.  So, a little white lie about the gross to Variety won't hurt anyone.  Except the shareholders, and what do they know?

Sandwiches are made to be broken.

If you ever spent some time preparing lunch for 4-10 year olds , you would know that Sandwiches need to be particularly crafted, and particularly presented - Her Majesty, at High Tea, could not be so fussy! "Cut in half", you say. Which way "in half?" is the existential dilemma.
