I'm in LA for that long weekend at my theater - wow, I worked front of house for three separate, excellent productions playing in rep, attended the board meeting yesterday morning, I'll meet with my boss this afternoon, work the literary evening tonight, and fly back to Seattle tomorrow! I'm staying at Rikki's son's palatial house in Playa Vista - yowza! I'll be staying here again when I get back end of Sept, dawg-sitting while said nephew and his lovely wife are a-travlin'.
Hainesies in LA environs might like these shows at Rogue Machine Theatre on Pico, just west of La Brea. I'm so proud to be involved with this bunch o' peeps... check out
www.roguemachinetheatre.com when you get a chance. Stop Kiss is a wonderful, touching show - and Henry Murray's Treefall is a majorly great show, one of the best things I've ever seen on so many levels - playwriting, set, acting, directing, hell - even the sound designer got great reviews.
