Since I seem to be spoiling everyone's good time with my TV comments, I'll refrain from posting and that will settle the business once and for al.

What?

If you don't post about them, I may have to start watching them myself.   ;D

And now, off to my morning Tarot fest... back later, skaters!

I use the Londa.....but I think I may get the One World.....Morgan-Greer is a great colorful deck.  I am checking out the Revelations deck as well.

Second choice for me after the Londa...The Cosmic.  ;D

Loved all of the pictures.  It was almost like being there.  And DR JOSE's photos of other events were also much appreciated.

I hope DR BJ will keep the forehead curl as part of his new look, it is most becoming....well it is eye-catching for sure.

THANKS FOR THE PHOTOS!!!

Both Kitty from France and Freida from someplace else sent emails to the theatre website today reminding me that size does matter and that I can be a real man with a real penis by just using their products.

DR KAREN - I think 3000 posts entitles you to a free day trip to NYC on the day you make the post and............

Oh....you're already there.  That's too bad.  But congratulations when you get there anyway.

Short shrift or long shrift...does size really matter?
The important thing is that we all be thrifty with our shrift.
Thrifty shrift shouldn't shift.

For photos of the world famous Gray Brothers Cafeteria that has been in Mooresville, Indiana, for over 50 years (not at this location) click the link.

It is a nice atmosphere, the portions are generous, but you pay EXTRA for every pat of butter, condiment, or what have you that you add to your tray.

DR JRand, thanks for the YouTube link of Miyoshi Umeki singing "How Deep is the Ocean!" She does a swell job and I love her version of that, and her version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."

TOD - When I was growing up in Detroit and my grandmother lived in Indianapolis and the interstate highway system was not yet fully developed, we'd drive south on I-75 to Old U. S. 40 and take that west to Indy.  We'd always stop at Miller's Cafeteria in Richmond, Indiana.  The only food memory I have is the cubes of brightly colored Jello, which appealed to me at age 10, before I learned that they're a staple of hospital food.

When in Indianapolis, we took Grandma to Laughner's Cafeteria, where she loved the lemon pie.  One time she said "Where's the lemon?" and sounded just like the old lady in the Wendy's commercial who said "Where's the beef?"

It was in my elementary school cafeteria where I developed my aversion to stewed tomatoes.  They were served in a wax-coated paper cup and I found them disgusting.  Took me years before I could even use them in cooking and I still can't just order them as a side dish  :P.

I wonder if MR BK has seen an episode yet?

I don't know from the TOD as I don't know of any in Orygun, other then those at the assorted schools I attended.

JRand, that fried chicken on that cafeteria's website looks delicious!

With apologies to DR CILLA LIZ:

ATTORNEY: Doctor, before you performed the autopsy, did you check for a
pulse?
WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: Did you check for blood pressure?
WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: Did you check for breathing?
WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: So, then it is possible that the patient was alive when you
began the autopsy?
WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: How can you be so sure, Doctor?
WITNESS: Because his brain was sitting on my desk in a jar.
ATTORNEY: But could the patient have still been alive, nevertheless?
WITNESS: Yes, it is possible that he could have been alive and
practicing law

DR MattH, I agree re: the television comments.

I really enjoy your comments.

Just put the name of the show on its own line or write spoiler at the top.

Sometimes your comments are quite general. But i get what DR DakotaCelt was saying.  I don't watch that soap so i find it interesting. But if it was my soap i wouldn't want to read the comments till after i saw it!

I really enjoyed hearing/reading/seeing pictures of the NYC festivities last night.

But I must say i feel like complete and utter crap.  I think i have the worst immune system. My 2 yr old niece has an ear infection/fever. And last night i was in so much pain. My throat was killing like it was on fire (this never happens to me). But worse i had a fever of 102.5. I never have fevers like that. And it was freaking me out becuase i didn't know what to do and it was night.

I took a cold shower and even took ibuprofen (to reduce fever) and it just kept getting higher.  I went to the doctor this morning. And she said everyone seems to be catching whatever this is. She gave me a stepe test (rapid part came back negative).  So now i just have to wait. But my gosh it hurts like all heck!

I didn't. I know you said it was good.  The premise did not sound interesting to me. but as i said yesterday i'm having a hard time knowing which shows i think i will like.

I did record PRIVATE PRACTICE, THE BIONIC WOMAN, and DIRTY SEXY MONEY. Not sure if any of those are good.

Tonight is UGLY BETTY. Although i'm going to record it since i like watching SURVIVOR at 8pm!
