Usually I am the first one to "sellout" as people come back for seconds or thirds, and bring others back with them

On the other hand, the judges feel as John does and I do truly want to win that apron

Just call it something other than chili, Vixmom.

Auditioning another Gilliam for the morning. Started watching some of the extras on Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. It's another one I haven't seen since it came out.

Tomorrow is also D-day. Doctor day, that is. Hope to get some answers at that time.

I'm also braving the cold and allergens to go try lunch out before the doctor's appointment.

Fourteen pages.  I'll relax, shower, and then write one more page, beginning a new section.

What to do, what to do....

If you want to win you have to make it how the judges tend to vote, if they are the same judges from previous years.

Would you rather win and have leftover chili or be the first to sellout?

There is your answer, chili for the judges and "something else" for your fans ;)

Rehearsal went really really well tonight...which is good because we have our free preview tomorrow night!  If anyone wants to come to Olympia Little Theatre and see Communicating Doors for free, just show up before the 7:25 curtain (even though there is no actual curtain).

My bosses office is overheating send the buildings solution was to bring in some machine which is connected to the specifying vent with a huge ridiculous looking tube...the first thing that I thought of when I saw it was Brazil

Having to return to work drenched would not have been fun.

It actually wouldn't have been the first time. ::)

;)

Considering you only took a lightweight jacket to work when rain was predicted, this does not surprise me ;D

I never check to see what the weather will be like throughout the week.  I just see what it's like in the morning when I leave my house.  I do have a couple of umbrellas in my car, so I could've brought one of them with me, but my car needed gas anyway, so it all worked out.

DR George how far from your sister do you live?

About two miles.  She's just on the other side of the freeway from me...actually, off the same street that I live on.
