From JMK

Quote
Jane, new tenants don't move in until mid-August, but they're paying as of July 24, which is kind of nice.  We have a lot of stuff to take care over there in the interim.

In spite of the hassle of doing this again it is great you won't be long without renters.

DR Matthew I believe DD Ben has gotten used to going out with you & protesting being left behind.

When we leave our dogs we give them a special treat, special depending on the length of time we will be gone, so our going is also a treat.  Our parting words are "I'll be back".  You can practice this with small treats & leaving for a few minutes while gradually increasing the time.

I always open the car door and pop the trunk that way. AT least by doing that it saves me from locking my keys in the trunk. Or at least if i do then the car door is already open.

Good idea.  We now have the key-less starter which also pops the trunk.  This means the key stays in my pocket or purse so as long as I don't put either in the trunk I'm ok.

And when Linda Evans was interviewed once and asked:  "Are you ever mistaken for Bo Derek?", Miss Evans replied: "Usually on days when I'm not looking my best.....and if someone asks me if I'm Bo, I just say...'yes.'"   MEOW!

Funny.

As promised, the Jason Graae early announcement - if you want a signed copy act quickly.  It's 17.98

Whoops!  BK, I forgot to put in the comment on my order that it was for John Boswell's new CD.    ;D

Thank you for today's notes, BK.  Over the years, I have learned to keep my mouth shut whenever the conversation turned to IT'S A MAD, MAD, MAD, MAD WORLD.  I just never found the movie that funny.  If I remember correctly, my mom, my sister, and I went to see the film at the Cinerama Theater in downtown Seattle.  I remember the audience laughing hysterically from start to finish, but for most of the film I just kept wondering what was so funny.

I had the same reaction only I pretended to laugh.  A very large number of the audience were in my graduating class from Jr. High & it was a special evening.  I double dated with dinner first.  I didn't want to ruin the evening by not laughing.

Free for all day......

As Bo Derek once told an interviewer when asked if she ever relaxed or took a break...."Well, some days I go without makeup."

And when Linda Evans was interviewed once and asked:  "Are you ever mistaken for Bo Derek?", Miss Evans replied: "Usually on days when I'm not looking my best.....and if someone asks me if I'm Bo, I just say...'yes.'"   MEOW!

I never saw Linda when she didn't look her best.  A very lovely lady, even in jeans.

New jeans?  And new shoes?  Whew!  Shopping can be dangerous!

AND keys locked in the trunk?

Well.....in actuality....astrologically speaking.....Uranus turned retrograde yesterday (until early September) - so these sort of things are bound to happen....even to we Virgos.

So, your anus locked Jose's keys in the trunk?

I loved most of "Mad, Mad ..." when I was a kid, but I haven't seen it since. I will have to give another viewing soon.

I LOVE It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World! It is one of those films that I really enjoy watching with other people.

It will be playing at our local Elsinore Theatre in couple of weeks. I had planned to take little Taylor and Ben to see it, but alas, my plans were foiled as I have to work that day because my supervisor is taking the day off.  >:(

Whew!  Then Taylor and Ben are safe for now.

Okey-doke, Folks. Time for me to head in for our first Oklahoma! double-header.

Laters...

Break two legs, Jose!  (You don't ever do three shows a day do you?)

I'm up - got eight hours of sleep.  Looks pretty and hot out, so I have to jog in about a half-hour if I'm to jog.

For those asking if orders were received - yes.  The coincidence with Mr. Herman's birthday was nice - I actually didn't know.

I'll mail out my order tomorrow morning as I go back to week after a week of vacation.

Next week I shall be getting my new glasses. I haven't been to the optometrist in 11 years. Amazingly, my prescription has not changed drastically. I do need new glasses but my astigmatism is gone and my right eye (always the better eye) is stronger. My left eye needs the new prescription. I really like the frames I will be wearing.

It's another hot day in Manhattan. I do have to find time to ride the bike. The apartment is not terribly hot so I should be able to get away with it.

DR Ben you got lucky with your eyes.  I expect if your vision had been worse you would have gone for an eye check.

I'm sorry, but two hours without a post?  This will NOT do.  Back from the four-mile jog and some people better get off their complacent butt cheeks and get some postin' goin' on.  Don't just sit there like so much fish - what's happenin'?

Just went on FACEBOOK to post the link to KICKSTARTER. I put it on the Brain From Planet X, Forgotten Musicals & Cast Album Collectors Corner.

So if you are a member of FACEBOOK and you are attached to a group that might be appropriate I suggest you mention a little something about what is happening and the link to kickstarter.

Jason Graae ordered. Paper finished, except for a last read-through. And it might rain. Things are looking up.
