CROSSING JORDAN had a frustrating episode with Dr. Bug arrested by Homeland Security suspected of being a terrorist. The unlimited power of Homeland Security is very frightening right now, and this episode brought it out clearly. Jordan was also having hallucinations thinking that the operation she had just come through had not been successful. That problem was sorted out by the end of the episode, too.

LOST had another nail-biter as an early view of Charlie taking an arrow in the throat kept me on the edge of my seat wondering if it was going to happen for real. Tense episode and one with the usual wonderful surprises.

As for IDOL results, I'd say that the contest starts in earnest next week. We've seen almost everyone but Melinda and Jordin at both the bottom and the top, so from now on, it's going to be a dogfight.

DID THE DEVIL MAKE HIM DO IT?

Quote
When unexplained violence takes center stage, we tend to turn to modern psychology to explain it.

But there is an alternative explanation, one that has been played out in film, stage and writings since the beginning of history.

Was Cho Seung-Hui schizophrenic … psychotic … manic-depressive? Or were the shooting deaths of 32 people, including Cho himself, at Virginia Tech University part of the ongoing struggle between God and Satan … good against evil … lightness and darkness?

Could Cho have been possessed by the Devil? Could that explain the massacre at Virginia Tech?

Dr. Richard Roberts, president of Oral Roberts University, shouts an unequivocal “Yes!”

“Based on what I’ve seen in the news," Roberts said in an interview, "there’s no doubt that this act was Satanic in origin."

Well ... I'm glad we finally have that settled!

Actually, I think they went easy on DHS! They should have kept BUG incommunicado for at least six months.

Time to head home!  There, I'll watch "Lost" and "Medium" (recording one and watching the other).  Then, I have to go right to bed.  Last night, I think I only got about three hours of sleep. :P I went to bed right after signing off here at about 1:00 a.m,, but didn't get to sleep until after 4 am!!  I don't know why!  So, I'm just going to go to sleep. 8) Until tomorrow!!

RE: Idol

I think Sanjaya left too soon.

I was looking forward to an ALW night with Sanjaya in ruffled skirts singing "Buenos Aires".

But wouldn't Melinda tug the heart strings with "Don't Cry For Me, Argentina"!

MBarnum we had snow yesterday.  How was the weather up your way.

It was chilly in Santa Monica, and with the winds in L.A. you might take some clothes to layer, just in case.  When are you leaving-Friday?

Rainy and cool here.

Am on my way Monday.

Good Evening!

Back from Westport... Back from another performance of All About Us.  So far, so good.

*And, apparently, Mr. Newman is due in tomorrow or Friday.  We shall see.

DR JRand - Thanks for the FF specifics.  I'll take a look at the wall of posters to see if I spot that one.

Hmm...  Since I don't have to be anywhere tomorrow until 5:00pm (the train back up to Westport), I could actually be a nightowl tonight.  Hmm...  Although, since I've been up since 7:30am, I seriously doubt I'll be burning too much of the midnight oil tonight.

Perusing Ebay and found a little Christmas cheer for BK when he returns from his French movie...perhaps he has a few French words for Ms. Leslie Parrish!

AMERICAN IDOL RESULTS SPOILER

*
*
*

I was disturbed to find Blake in the bottom 3. And even more disturbed that to find those who had been in the bottom in the top (people like phil and chris). I have nothing against these two, I just find it so odd that people are changing their votes week to week.  Either that or the votes are so close.

I was not surprised that sanjaya was gone, or that lakisha was in the B2.  I had come across a very accurate prediction that had this exact result.

Geez, simon was grinning from ear to ear. He had a feeling it was coming.  I was actually happy he (sanjaya) was not saved. Because that would have just encouraged his fans and made them vote more.

Lakisha does not belong in any bottom three at any time...not in that group.

The good news, though, was the final result.  VERY good news.

She should be number One - but she keeps floundering while Melinda is trotting right on up.

Surely Lakisha "can" - just hope that she "does"!
