Well, you've read the notes, the notes had some residual residue, and now it is time for you to post until the cheddar Chex Cows come home.

Last night, I did my tax return.  Did I actually actually mail it or e-file it??  No (long story :P).  So here's my question (mainly for Fred):  If I'm expecting a refund (and I am...assuming I figured it all correctly), is there a great penalty (or one at all) if the tax return is mailed one day late? ::)

In my mailbox yesterday, I received a 2-track CD from Tomovoz!  Thanks, Tom!  It was totally unexpected. :)

As in Adam...the composer of The Light In the Piazza?

I have just woken up, in the middle of the night, from a very unusual dream.

It was a musical about Gertrude.  They were singing "Gertie is Back!"  But I'm still not sure if they were singing about Gertrude Lawrence or Gertrude Stein.

The star of the musical was Lee J. Cobb, in full kit.  Chiffon, sequins and everything.

His co-star was Lucille Ball.  If it was Lawrence, she was supposed to be all the men in Gertie's life.  If Stein, all the women.

And the whole thing was set on a gigantic battleship, painted white.

And then, Fletcher gave me a really hard kick, and I woke up.

I'm not sure if that was a bad thing or a good one.  But I've got to get back to sleep.

This is one of those things that simply cannot be made up.  Sorry.

Wednesday morning greetings!  Off to work again today, before having 5 days off.  Restful, you ask?

No-o-o-o.

After taking DH Richard tomorrow for his first physical therapy appointment, I'll drive to Tiffin, OH, for the AAUW/Ohio conference and convention Friday and Saturday.  As program VP for AAUW/Ohio, I've been working with the local folks since last September to plan this event.  Pray for Rosemary's baby.

Time to listen to "Loving Repeating" S Woody and then to watch "Star" again.

I think Gertrude was the name of the Duck in "Journey To The Centre Of The Earth" (if that helps!)

Good Morning, Tom!

Since SWoodyWhite has returned to his fitful doze, I will channel him:

The pelican proceeded to GUTTLE fish down his GULLET while watching the little TUGLET tow the tiny white battleship into harbor after it had recovered the precious contents of the sGUTTLEd Smithsonian cargo ship, which included a TUT LEG!

Ben, I have shown many of my friends Ant's miniatures. They think that his work should be in a museum! I particularly liked my mom's comment since it sounds like she's from another country:

"How very awesome is his hobby, quite a work of art and imagination of ideas he used.  What wonderful detail, and much patience to work in miniatures".

Has he ever posted his pictures to HHW? They are really amazing!

The Australian Center for the Moving Image in Melbourne has asked for a copy of our film but hasn't scheduled it yet. But if it does (and if I win the lottery) I will come to visit you, Colin, and your breathtaking birds! I would love to see your record/CD collection...it must take up several rooms!
