I believe I have shared this anecdote before, but when my father had his very serious heart attack in Las Vegas, my mother's cousin was the General Manager of Circus Circus and put her up in one of two penthouse suites.  On the elevator one day she met the other suite holder--Forrest (F TROOP) Tucker.  She had always loved F TROOP and got to be quite good friends with Forrest during her long stay there, and it turned out, in an incredible synchronicity, that she and Forrest were second cousins!

My favorite Western series is Bat Masterson. Have Gun Will Travel was good, but I didn't care for the constant downbeat endings.

Did any other DR catch the announcement about Bernadette Peters and Elaine Stritch extending their contracts in the current revival of A Little Night Music?  -And how the show will be closing on January 9, 2011 - which happens to be the new end date for their contracts.

Oh...

Good Evening!

I had a nice time at the taping of "The Martha Stewart Show" today.  The guests were André Leon Talley (from "America's Next Top Model", etc.) Chef Laurent Tourondel and bulb (flower) expert, Sally Ferguson.  Since today's show was being taped for airing this Thursday, they were able to start and stop just in case something happened. And they did. ;)

*And after attending two previous tapings where they actually apologized to the audience for having nothing to give away, I finally walked away from the Martha Stewart studio with some swag! -Chef Tourondel's new book, and some bulbs - blue Muscaris and Narcissus.
