BK, glad to each Mr. Eastwood is on his usual form. As you say, no pretention, nothing to prove, no look at how clever I am. Just finding the best way to tell the story. He also respects writers by not taking a possessive credit. A class act. Looking forward to seeing this movie. My birthday wish this year is for Clint Eastwood dust off one of those great scripts of mine lying around and take it out and shoot it.
My favourite sport is baseball. I watch and root for the Cincinnati Reds and have since I was a boy in the fifties watching them play in Crosley Field and were called the Cincinnati Redlegs ( so no commie baiters would confuse them for reds of a Russkie sort). I follow the Reds these days until they break my heart somewhere before the All-star break, then I don't open the sports page again until Spring Training starts in February. My only other sport is Scrabble.
I'll have to think about sports movies. But as I'm now another year older, I must wuss out for tonight.
