I use very little dressing, either. Just a teeny, tiny, dab.

Tonight on tv for me: SURVIVOR, ELI STONE.

I will also record LOST. I like to read the scroll at the bottom with the info. I am hoping they show the jin/sun episode. Because i really want to read what they write for that one!

Oh, and speaking of opera...

Many PBS affiliates are broadcasting Gounod's Romeo & Juliet tonight with Alagna and Gheorghiu.

I am hoping this will be an option for all the episodes on the Season 4 DVD set.

Somebody come and play today
Somebody come and smile the smiles
And sing the songs

It turns out that Todd Graff was one of the original child performers who recorded that with Joe Raposo all these years ago.

TOD

A nicely composed Salade niçoise:

I like it "American Style" - the potatoes and beans cooked, the tuna canned.

La Vie en Rose in Brea, CA used to make a splendid one - before they screwed it up by substituting grilled salmon for the tuna!

Doyle's "Much Ado About Nothing", for me, is one of the most GLORIOUS film scores of the 1990s, along with his "Sense and Sensibility" score.

And additional thanks to DR BEN for the A CATERED AFFAIR report.

I don't like the movie A CATERED AFFAIR - don't like the characters.  So I am not sure I would be interested in a musical of the show, no matter how good it is.

I don't know the movie, but I love John Bucchino's music.  I have his CD and the cast recording of his revue.  I can't wait for the cast album of A Catered Affair.  :D

I hope it's not as long a wait as the one for "Lestat"!

Neither do I, but my calendar is marked to pick it up on my DVR when TCM programs it on 25-Apr.  :)

Thank you for asking.

The dentist said it was an easy fix, until he realized he had permanently cemented in the crown.   Awhile back the crown fell out so he made sure that wouldn’t happen again.  ::)

So he offered to replace it for a mere $500, which will cover the lab costs.  He removed the broken piece so it is more comfortable.  I still don’t like eating on the side of the tooth.  Since I have a major nerve problem on the other side I don’t have a lot of choices.  I’m going with uncomfortable vs painful.

Is "Lestat" the vampire musical with the production number all about garlic, or was that one of the other vampire musicals?    ???

Lunch started late and ran much longer than expected. The day turned into a miserably cold and soggy afternoon. I had to turn my heat back on, too, which also didn't make me happy (but was definitely necessary).

This is my hope as well. I will be very disappointed if this isn't added as a special feature on both the regular season set and the Blu-ray set.

I said I would call for an appointment.  Keith is getting a crown at the new dentist on Monday so  I figured I would wait & see how things go as is.  After experiencing lunch, I suspect I will be calling for an appointment by tomorrow.
