Is Journey a clue? Is Steve Perry playing Prof. Harold Hill?!?
So now that DOWNTON ABBEY is a big fat hit, how long before one of the U.S. networks does another BEACON HILL?
Welcome home to DR Jane!
Re: the US Dragaon Tattoo movie. BK didn't care for it. But I know others who liked it a lot (including my mom). I am definitely looking forward to seeing it to see which aspects were like the book and which aspects were different from the Swedish movie.
LOL JRand, this is just a listening session. The USCIS is explaining the proposal. All participants are in a listen only mode. Now doesn't THAT sound like the government.
Looks like I have a Sugarfoot of my own. One butterfly didn't eclose properly and only has wings on one side.

Awwwwwwwww.......maybe it's because of global warming.
Welcome to Page 3
I really liked the US version. I'd highly recommend watching it.
The weather is too nice for January DR GINNY.
The Monarch Scientist said this is a sign of a disease caused by a paramecium.
The postal service from U.S. to U.K. seems to have improved lately. I've been receiving packages really quickly - like 4 days.
JANE-
Welcome Back
What was The Highlight Of Your Trip?

And How Is SHERLOCK today?

Welcome home to DR Jane!
The Variety review for the second season of Downton is an out and out rave.
I now have five butterflies.
And now I need to get ready for the rest of my day: some pre-production discussion about THE MUSIC MAN, maybe a haircut, a meet-up with some friends who just moved to The City, and then I think I'm seeing ONCE tonight (or tomorrow).
Laters...

My new Hoover has arrived, and I hope it is not too difficult to assemble. I need to vacuum.
Has Victoria Clark been announced for the LA production of FOLLIES? Her name is all over the AllThatChat ropic this morning.

They were going to use Steve Perry but they decided to go with Stephen Tyler because he's just so sexy!!!

I was awakened at eight-thirty by noisy workers somewhere nearby. I stayed in bed until nine-thirty, got up, finessed yesterday's pages, then went and had some food after writing three new pages. I hadn't been to the Studio Cafe for a while so I went there. Ed Asner was lunching near me. Then I picked up one package and now I shall write as many pages as I can.

My favorite oatmeal is eggs and chicken-fried steak at Bill Johnson's Big Apple.
So much for easy assemblage. It took me about 45 minutes to assemble this Hoover and try it out. Instruction books and I do not agree: why does nothing in the illustrations look like the object in my hand? why isn't there a lovely detailed dos[;ay of all the assorted objects? how did I miss the info about the handle? Oy!
It runs beautifully. I am happy I broke nothing in the assemblage.

DR JANE!!!! So nice that you are back. I hope we get to see some photos of your trip!!!!
And of course PawPaw vibes for Sherlock.
I really hate that all my posts end up in a row on one page. Easier to skip over, I suppose.
This is rather amusing.

Apparently, all the theaters are trying to spice up OKLAHOMA a little.(http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u271/actr2000/Oklahoma_header.jpg)
So now that DOWNTON ABBEY is a big fat hit, how long before one of the U.S. networks does another BEACON HILL?I loved the pilot of that show. Can't remember much about it, except I was one of the few who seemed to enjoy it. Guess you did, too.
Yowza! Where is that photo on the net? This demands to be linked - and soon. :)

Is that the ad for the 5th Avenue Theatre's production?
There's a wide open shirt on that fellow
There's a wide open shirt on that fellow
I'm turning my head as I watch him jump high
And it seems like Seattle's where I'm gonna fly
Oh what a beautiful cornfield
Oh what a beautiful shot
I got a beautiful inkling
Tickets are gonna be hot
All the cowboys are set for a hoedown
All the cowboys are set for a hoedown
They don't even look as they see me go by
But if I looked like them, honey, neither would I

Time to try to watch the end of "Bells Are Ringing." Good score, Judy Holliday and decent cast. Horrible direction.
Vixmom!
Thanks, TCB. were they ever actually using that as the ad and maybe it got pulled?

My friend Paul liked it a lot better than the Swedish version, well, except for the opening credits
Speaking of movies....We went to three movies this trip. Considering I think we have only gone twice since I broke my shoulder this was something. I found I can sit, at least in a stadium seating theater, through a movie without it hurting. :) We saw HUGO in a very comfortable theater in Palm Springs.
Jane, how did the Paul Gauguin compare to the other cruise ships you have been on?
Welcome back, DR Jane! I'm glad to hear you had such a good time!

Little known fact is that Curly's full name is Curly McLain, or however it's spelled, it rhymes with Shirley MacLaine.
So...
Would that be sung by the farmer or the cowhand?
::)
Nice job, DR FJL.

What a surprise. Mit Romney has won New Hampshire.

Did he read the books?

His father was born in Mexico. I found that very interesting. His grandparents were fleeing anti-poligamy laws, I bet they didn't have a visa to go to Mexico
The weirdest thing bothers me in movies. My legs. I just have a hard time sitting without them cramping.
Rex began eating yesterday. The vet was very pleased.
DR George thank you for posting the two photos Keith was able to send. I'm sorry there weren't more & that it was difficult to post.

Or maybe it's targeted marketing? ;)
I just found this video at the Doonesbury website and fell in love with it. I wanted to share it with y'all:
"Oh, The Places You Will Go!" (http://youtu.be/ahv_1IS7SiE?hd=1)
I just learned that a Facebook friend Joey Wilgenbusch, who played Mowgli in JUBILEE this summer for Ohio Light opera, died at the age of 29 in December from heart issues. I had him in mind for one of the Collegians on the recording of ROBERTA. I am very sad over this.
Here's the OLO page in memory of him. There's also a link to the obituary:

So, tonight Sandra and I saw the tour of South Pacific. It was great.
While in the parking lot walking to the sidewalk, I tripped and landed hard on my knee. Boy, did it hurt to walk the steps in the theater.
