The open mic - that's what always gets the politicians into trouble! :P
Good morning.
The moon was beautiful last night and still is this morning.

DR Ginny, I missed a few days of postings, but wanted to say I am very happy that DR Richard is home and resting comforatably!
OLIVER!
All the previous releases I believe were full frame versions to make them family friendly. Which I always thought was a lot of B.S. Wong.
I wonder if they will have a music only track.
I wonder if they will have any bonus footage. I remember there was a movie tie-in book with photos from the movie. There was one (maybe two) showing Oliver!'s mother giving birth to him.
I wonder if there will be a commentary track. Shani Wallis, Mark Lester and Ron Moody are still alive.
I would like to get a signed Shani Wallis insert.
AND THE WORLD GOES ROUND
BK will you record the songs that didn't make it to the first album?

Don't know how often Donald logs into this part of the board but I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the Eydie Gorme show. I just got chance to listen and it's a wonderful tribute.

Page 2 Moon Dance
Sorry I missed wishing a happy birthday to the father of DR George yesterday - hope it was a good one!
Car in for tune-up/repairs today. It's going to end up costing me quite a pile of $$!
At least I got to have lunch with my Mom, who was passing through town.
Waiting on responses from 3 people regarding questions I have asked them. One of these people would want a response right away if the tables were turned. This irks me to no end.
I just got in from a very long day that went splendidly. This morning, we finished up the orchestra tracks, and I had to say farewell to a number of wonderful instrumentalists and friends. In the afternoon session, we had the seven-piece dance band, and I have to say that I think my orchestrations for them were a great deal of fun. Jason and Kim did their numbers with the band, and we finished up with Jimmy's guitar solo for "The Touch of your Hand."
Then, we had to say goodbye to Kim and her friend Michelle, since they went directly to the airport to fly back to London. Judy, Jason, Glenn, Rob and I went to the home of our principal violinist Fionnuala Hunt for a magnificent dinner: salmon, salad, potatoes, assorted cheeses, and lots of wine. She's not only a beautiful violinist but a beautiful lady and we had a fantastic time. Her neice Rachel Kelly, who's on EILEEN and DEAREST ENEMY, joined us; she made the best cheesecake I've ever had. Ever.
Now we're back at the Hibernian Club, and I must finish packing. The car picks us up tomorrow morning at 7:15, and, God willing, I'll be in Manhattan by noon EST. I'm closing up the laptop until I get home, so please keep those travel vibes for a safe trip coming!

Those two names were the first names I proposed but I'm not sure that can happen.
Wentworth Miller has come out as gay.
The Prison Break star decided it was time to publicly reveal his sexuality after being invited to attend a film festival in Russia.
"Thank you for your kind invitation. As someone who has enjoyed visiting Russia in the past and can also claim a degree of Russian ancestry, it would make me happy to say yes," Wentworth, 41, says in a letter to Maria Averbakh, director of the St. Petersburg International Film Festival. "However, as a gay man, I must decline.
"I am deeply troubled by the current attitude toward and treatment of gay men and women by the Russian government," he continued in the letter, posted on GLAAD's website (http://www.glaad.org/blog/wentworth-miller-rejects-russian-film-festival-invitation-gay-man-i-must-decline). "The situation is in no way acceptable, and I cannot in good conscience participate in a celebratory occasion hosted by a country where people like myself are being systematically denied their basic right to live and love openly.
He also said "if circumstances improve, I'll be free to make a different choice."
FULL MOON IN AQUARIUS dance...
Teamwork will bring the most benefits for the next few days....so cooperate with others.....

We need a YouTube video! ;D
Well, you've read the notes, the notes were open and miked, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently singing at an open MOOc night.
Lo-o-o-ong before home video, DR Singdaw!
The cows are singing a moosical?
And then it will be time, high time

That's why we're doing this - it will be the first complete recording and a two CD set that will hopefully have some extras.

I'm not sure about any of this, but I believe any extras from the DVD release will be included - there is usually an isolated score on Twilight Time releases so I'm sure that's a possibility - no new features or extra footage. The first DVD release was in the proper screen ratio of 2.37 - subsequent releases were full frame but I have the original DVD and it's scope.

Wednesday morning greetings! I've been puttering in the kitchen, making Richard's favorite Jello salad - aka Green Stuff. This afternoon I have to participate in a financial review for our AAUW group.

And, speaking of car crashes...
So many folk here have spoken SO highly of Shrek the Musical, that I am sure that every DR will want to rush out to buy this:

~ ~ ~ LINE MEMORIZATION VIBES ~ ~ ~ for DR George!
Watching "Mannequin," which I have never seen. I'm sure it's perfectly awful, but Phyllis Newman in the opening scene was a hoot.
We have had a grand total of 1/3 of one inch of rain in the last 8 weeks.
That is very unnatural for the Pacific Northwest.
Finished fourth set of liner notes and thank heaven I don't have to do any more for at least two weeks!
