Well, you've read the notes, the notes were open and miked, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently singing at an open MOOc night.

Good morning, all! Today we finish up, and I think the stress of working fifteen days straight has worn us down a bit. The orchestra has been blowing and scraping their brains out for six straight days, and we all need a break. If I'd realized this months ago, I would have asked for a recording schedule of two days, a day off, and then two more days. Anyway, this morning we do only the orchestra sections of the score, and this afternoon we get the seven-piece stage combo - alto sax, trumpet, trombone, piano, tuba, guitar-banjo, and drums.

Jason and Kim will finish up today with their numbers with this group. Tonight our principal violin, Fionnuala Hunt, is having us all over for dinner, and tomorrow morning we're off to the airport. I'll be begging for safe travel vibes tomorrow!

DRvixmom, we are recording in Dublin because in 2011 the foundation wanted to do Victor Herbert's Irish operetta EILEEN with a British-Irish cast; we've liked the rapport with our Dublin production team, and the orchestra is excellent.

It's probably also a bit cheaper to record there (rather than in NY).

DR Vixmom - I'll say it again: I don't know how you do it all.

The open mic - that's what always gets the politicians into trouble!       :P

LOL, ain't that the truth?  Remember when scandals could be kept quiet and we didn't find out about them until 20 years later?

OLIVER!

All the previous releases I believe were full frame versions to make them family friendly. Which I always thought was a lot of B.S. Wong.

I wonder if they will have a music only track.
I wonder if they will have any bonus footage. I remember there was a movie tie-in book with photos from the movie. There was one (maybe two) showing Oliver!'s mother giving birth to him.
I wonder if there will be a commentary track. Shani Wallis, Mark Lester and Ron Moody are still alive.

I would like to get a signed Shani Wallis insert.

DR LARRY

I may have misunderstood what you earlier wrote, but I believe you need to call ahead to get a wheelchair in NYC, not when you get there.

Good morning, all.

A little oy, a little coffee.

I was having this absolutely bizarre dream that simply wouldn't give up the ghost, so I just got the hell up.  That'll show it!

Happy Birthday, Hawaii!

But how in the HELL can Hawaii be younger than I am?  How can that possibly be?  Next you'll be telling me it's younger than springtime.  I demand a recount.

Oh well.

Good morning, all.

Today is finally Wednesday.

I think I can get my head around that.

More recording vibes for Elmore.
