DR JOHN G - you must see Pakeezah, if your library has it in stock....and you haven't seen it already.  It is my favorite old time Bollywood movie.

And then it will be time, high time, to watch something.  Have to think about what that will be.

Just finished listening to Donald's tribute to Eydie Gorme.  My sister had her LP Gorme Sings Showstoppers and I used to lip sync "What Did I Have?"  The tribute was great!

Oops, iTunes tells me that sing is not on that album.  I do know it was played on WJR radio, "From the Golden Tower of the Fisher Building."

Well, I'm off to rehearsal.

Be back later...much later.  But fortunately, tonight is the last night that I have to feed the various cats.  The sister, niece and sister's boyfriend come back tomorrow.  I will just have to feed my sister's cats tomorrow afternoon, and it's all over.  Hoo and Ray! ;)

AND THE WORLD GOES ROUND

BK will you record the songs that didn't make it to the first album?

PAIN
YES
THE HAPPY TIME
ME & MY BABY
THE RINK
ONLY LOVE
MY COLORING BOOK

I hope PAIN will be recorded as I don't think its ever had a commercial recording

That's why we're doing this - it will be the first complete recording and a two CD set that will hopefully have some extras.

Looking forward to getting this.

OLIVER!

All the previous releases I believe were full frame versions to make them family friendly. Which I always thought was a lot of B.S. Wong.

I wonder if they will have a music only track.
I wonder if they will have any bonus footage. I remember there was a movie tie-in book with photos from the movie. There was one (maybe two) showing Oliver!'s mother giving birth to him.
I wonder if there will be a commentary track. Shani Wallis, Mark Lester and Ron Moody are still alive.

I would like to get a signed Shani Wallis insert.

I'm not sure about any of this, but I believe any extras from the DVD release will be included - there is usually an isolated score on Twilight Time releases so I'm sure that's a possibility - no new features or extra footage.  The first DVD release was in the proper screen ratio of 2.37 - subsequent releases were full frame but I have the original DVD and it's scope.

Looking forward to this release of the movie.

In from a few fun dance classes. We're learning the hustle this month just for the heck of it.

Watching "Mannequin," which I have never seen. I'm sure it's perfectly awful, but Phyllis Newman in the opening scene was a hoot.
