When I was growing up it was
Sugar Frosted Flakes and now it's Frosted Flakes
Sugar Pops and now it's Corn Pops
Sugar Smacks and now it's Honey Smacks
Super Sugar Crisp and now it's Golden Crisp
When I was little I would see
Many products on TeeVee.
I did not get to buy them much
Money being tight and such.
My favorites though were good and many
E'en though I got not any.
Still I would watch and sometimes pray
That there would come the happy day
When I would get what I would see
Appearing then on my TeeVee.

By the bye, I'm wondering about those "100 sauces" too, DR SingAlong.
Also, the blurb on that website says The Bayou North is a "mini me" of the Fleetwood Bayou.
A "mini me" !!!
Maybe we'll only get to choose from, say, 50 sauces!

Clare Easton (http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/middletown/obituary.aspx?n=clare-a-easton&pid=166580574#fbLoggedOut)
Clare and I worked together at the Miami University campus here in Middletown. She was such a classy lady and a good friend. We'd lost touch when she developed dementia and moved to Illinois near her son.
Druxy, there are at least three Anne Frank musicals, one of which has a CD (the cover elmore posted). This one tonight is not that one.

I ONLY told Santa that I wanted this doll for Christmas just to see if he was real. I told my parents on Christmas Eve when we were at my grandparents' house in a very small town. Mom got a hold of my uncle in Des Moines. He went out in a mad rush and found it! I did love this doll

Well my mean neighbor David told me in first grade when we were washing out the paint brushes in class, so after that I had my doubts. I pretty much knew already, but was hoping I was wrong. I'm thinking I got Crissy in second grade. The kicker for me was that my grandparents didn't have a fireplace and no one had ever explained to me how Santa got in when there wasn't a chimney

Yours, Anne!I love this show. I think I saw it three times. Enid Futterman wrote some simple, well-structured lyrics that grew as Anne matured. And Michael Cohen's music is lovely and heartfelt.

I'm sorry. I just think the subject matter is inappropriate for a musical...or a time travel story.
It's like doing a musical about 9/11 or the Fort Hood massacre.
Maybe it just needs more distance, time-wise.
Speaking of "I'd like to teach the world to Sing" Wasn't there a bridge that went something like:
Put your hand in my hand, let's begin today....
Anyone?

What's next? SCHINDLER'S LIST?
DR TCB, I tried to find some "white noise" on youtube so that you could hear what it sounds like. But truthfully I don't find that any of the videos with white noise are that close.
Just picture a big fan. It sort of makes that kind of noise, but not exactly. It just basically blocks out most sounds and is very soothing to sleep to. I also love it for reading. It blocks out noises from other rooms (tv) or outside. I've been sleeping a lot better since I got this machine. I absolutely love it.

I'm sure they're all very good.
I just think the subject matter is a bit depressing for a musical".
But, then, I guess that's just me.

96??? Seriously? Ok, I have to confess I actually did buy a box of 64 when I thought I was going to do colors in my waiting room. Until Edith convinced me that the walls, the furniture and everything would end up being colored. Now we have puzzles in the waiting room for kids

Whew. Long evening. Dinner and a visit afterward with friends was much fun, but the Bayou place was definitely "inspired by" Cajun influences, as opposed to actually presenting them. But it was good, and fun, and good fun.
