Yay . . . hooray!
"Close Harmony" is the title of a song from FADE OUT, FADE IN. Tina Louise gets a little solo in the number!
NYC folks - any tips, insights, etc. about getting from Newark airport into Manhattan? We've only ever flown into LaGuardia, but will arrive at Newark for our upcoming visit.
Congratulations, DR John G., on your new millstone.

So THAT'S why I never got asked back! :P
I'm sorry that I was E & T yesterday, but we had a medical emergency here; and when that was over, I was plum wore out. I had hoped to be peach wore out or possibly grape wore out, but that just didn't happen.
At least you were invited ONCE.

I hope it wasn't your medical emergency!
Looking forward to Merrily tonight. Wonder if I'll be the only San Antonian in the place.

It's been so empty without it.

Had a book signing at lunch today and we sold 19 copies. Quite amazing, if you ask me for a book that's more than a year old. But the people were wonderful.
Good evening. I spent a lovely day up north hiking.

I am the opposite. I can wait for our first snow. And hope it doesn't come for a very very long time.
Good morning, all! Payback for a good night's sleep two nights ago was a restless and sleepless night last night.
Wednesday. What great photos yesterday from DR JANE and DR LAURA! Makes me feel as if I have been on an adventure!
Mike, I'm sorry to hear about all the recent deaths of people you're a fan of.

DR John G. - if there had been food samples, I'll bet you would have sold even more!
(A pain in the butt to organize, though...)

I don't have anything I have to do after work this week. It's great to be able to just come home and rest
Thanks for the info, DRs Ben and Elmore! I will investigate...
I like having Bob in the office. I referred a decent case to him and he's picked up a couple more. Not bad since he's only been open since Monday. I think this is really going to work out.

DR Elmore, you were so focused on getting us to page 4 you didn't even get to see my side-splitting post. ;)
Or else you are ignoring my very existence. Again.

For the new DRs, I do like to remind that DR Elmore and I really do love each other very much. :-*

I'm always impressed at your book sales. Do you think San Antonio is a particularly good area for it?
My eyes are having trouble reading the screen.
TTFN.
Sneaking in from 30,000 feet to say hello, and to wish everyone a good evening. Gotta love having the interwebs in the air. :)
I had a lovely time in Philly, but I am wedding'd and family'd out. I need a week long nap when I get home.
I hope everyone's had a great week. I look forward to catching up with all the goings-on about here again.
Yep, flyin' home at last.... and boy, are my arms tired.... c'mon, I had to. :D

Methinks that's a good thing. Vibes for continued improvement.

Sorry folks, it was a Nicky medical emergency. When I got home from a semnar on Medicare yesterday afternoon he was haivin potty problems and then stated throwing up and crying. Doctor couldn't find anything wrong (which is good), but treated the symptoms. He is doing much much better today.
Page three? Really? Far too many errant and truant dear readers for my taste. Is this a vacation week?

Or because the food photo on the cover is so very yummy looking.
And the word of the day is: FALDERAL!
~ ~ ~ EXTRA-STRENGTH VIBES ~ ~ ~ for little Nicky!!Ditto. (My friends used to have a cat named Ditto, so there's special feline meaning in that.)
I made a big pot of chili the other day and had that for lunch. It really hit the spot
I think.
Nice pics of Scrooge, TCB.

Lovely photos DR Jane. Glad you had a nice hike
Back from Merrily. I haven't seen it on stage since the original Broadway production in 1981. It has been reworked many times over the years. I still think it is an inherently problematic piece, but they did make a good case for it. And people keep trying because Sondheim's score is so good. I thought the three principle actors were excellent.
I was surprised most by Jenna Russell as Mary. I loathe her artificial, pretentious and sloooooooow sound on the "Sunday in the Park ..." revival recording, but she really didn't hit a false note in "Merrily."

Jane, it is not a pocket camera. It is rather large. I can't take a picture of it because, well, I would be using it to take the picture.
