Well, you've read the notes, the notes went the way of all flesh, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - apparently they've gone the way of all flesh and can't find their way home.
-
And the word of the day is: PRECOCIAL!
-
Wish we could all go see Jrand as Banjo.
-
good morning to all

I have half a day at work and then a special treat. We will walk over to Toyland and visit Larry!
I wish Toyland looked as much fun as this, but it's almost as much fun because Larry is there.

We have a long weekend with few plans. We will just hang out and relax. The weather is supposed to be nice so, as they say, whatever happens, happens.
-
Good morning, all! I had a very peculiar dream in which my adopted son Joshie and I were stuck in a cabaret performance of Jacques Brel songs. I was dragged into it by my former friends Ron and Dona, and Elly Stone and Mariah Carey were in the audience. I had no idea what I was doing there since I'd never rehearsed with the pianist,. Beyond that, I slept well.
So, today I head down to Toyland to continue packing. DR ChasSmith is coming in to help, and DR Ben and Anthony coming to visit. Tomorrow, our DR ChasSmith is generously driving into Manhattan to help me schlep as much as we can pack into his automobile up to my apartment. When I get home from Toyland today, I need to finish cleaning out the area that will hold all of the cartons.
More coffee!
-
And the good news is that the bank has refunded my overdrawn fees!
-
Good morning, all.
Posting from the Danbury station while waiting for the Toyland Train.

Friday morning greetings! This afternoon Rob and I will shop for Mom (Gram) to last her until I get back from France. Rob's sleeping in, though, to recover from working 12+ hours yesterday at his second job with the private ambulance company where he began his paramedic career.
-
I'm taking a holiday from everything I normally do on the weekends and scheduling absolutely nothing whatsoever.
-
Good news, finally, DR elmore3003!
-
Sounds like a fun day at Toyland - hope somebody takes a picture or two!
-
How nice that there will be a mini-HHW reunion today, right smack dab in the middle of Manhattan!
-
We are travelling south today to visit the Dear Mother of the Dear Husband over the holiday weekend, so I will be scarce around these here parts until sometime on Sunday.
-
Safe travels, DR Singdaw!

Dropping in to say internet connection on my machine has been very spotty. Hoping the cable company will fix it when they come this weekend.
-
Good news, finally, DR elmore3003!
Both the banker and I are happy over today's news. She was puzzled over its delay.
And greetings from Toyland!
-
Thanks, DR Ginny! :)

Would you want an aquarium for your kitchen island?

Good morning, all.
I wish we'd all be able to see JRand as Banjo, too.
Congratulations, Elmore, on finding a bank that eventually did right by you. May we all be so fortunate.

TOD:
DVD: Dallas Buyers Club, maybe some more Esther Williams
CD: Anita Day Sings Cole Porter
Car CD: The Silkworm, Disc 4.

I hope I get the chance to read some this weekend. Knowing my luck lately, that won't be possible.
-
Two!

Vixmom, when it comes to Arby's, I will always remember an episode of "The Simpsons" that spoofed "Lord of the Flies." The kids are alone on an island and they're hungry and they're complaining. One kid says, "I'm so hungry, I'd almost eat Arby's." And all of the other kids say, "Eeewww!"
(And, yes, Vixmom, I finally got copies of the book.)

Friday morning greetings! This afternoon Rob and I will shop for Mom (Gram) to last her until I get back from France. Rob's sleeping in, though, to recover from working 12+ hours yesterday at his second job with the private ambulance company where he began his paramedic career.

From DR Vixmom:
Jane the guy that is not Matt Smith is Bill Nighy. You might know him from Love,Actually
Thank you. We recognized him from a number of things, just couldn't place his name.
-
From DR George:
It's an episode of "Doctor Who" and Bill Nighy is the actor on the right.
Thank you for explaining what the photo is from.
-
I asked Bryan if people say he looks like Doctor Who. He said he hears it all the time. His wife says Bryan has eyebrows :D

-
Greetings from Toyland!
-
(Just had to say that once.)
-
I'm up, I'm up. I have no idea how much sleep I got, but it must be over nine hours. When I was having my soup last night, I swallowed something wrong, whether soup or beverage or bagel chip, and the left side of my throat has kind of a sore throat feeling, which I really need to go away now.
-
Vibes for Cillaliz!
-
Dr singdaw: No. Thank you for asking, though.

Happy holiday weekend all!
BK, your assessment of August being slow, for me is an understatement. I've seen tumbleweeds this past month rolling across my resume and corporate entertainment work. Thankfully, as of next week, that all changes, beginning of course with the Kritzerland Anniversary show, which I am looking forward to doing.
Among other things, I even picked up a reading at MTW (who never even auditions me) of "Where's Charley?" as Sir Francis. Should be fun and maybe at last, a foot in that door.
So onward and upward for all! :D
-
It's Friday in Oakland, California.
-
What day is it where YOU are?
-
Is anyone happier to see a holiday weekend arrive than I (am happy to see it arrive)?
-
I'm still wondering what happened to May, much less June, July and August!
-
I am getting peckish.
Yet, I do not know on what I wish to peck.
-
Pizza sounds good.
-
Someone, peel me a pizza!
-
I do believe the page has turned.
Three!
-
And the good news is that the bank has refunded my overdrawn fees!
Very good news, Larry!!

Back from a wonderful visit with Larry and Chas. No pictures were taken but perhaps tomorrow if we remember to take a camera. We are going back to help Larry and Chas pack up some things from Larry's office.
It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

Its not me

(Just had to say that once.)
Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!
I just got home and that made me laugh.
-
Its not me
What?
It's cold comfort, I know, but I am so saddened by this news.
You are No. 1 in my book! I hope it means there are better things waiting for you.

Back from my meeting, and although we will be months away from an announcement, I can tell you that something amazing will be happening next year, something I've wanted to do for ages, and we began that journey by sealing a deal today.

So sorry to hear that Cilla
-
Shocking news from DR CILLA LIZ....but who knows what will happen to their chosen candidates between now and then.....
-
Exciting mysterious news from MR BK....
Great news from DR ELMORE......yes maybe tomorrow we will have photographic evidence.
It would be wonderful to have my HHW friends in the audience.....but at present I am not going on until almost TWO HOURS after the beginning of the show, so you might want to bring a book....not that EVERYTHING that goes before me is without entertainment value.

TOD:
DVD: Dallas Buyers Club, maybe some more Esther Williams
CD: Anita Day Sings Cole Porter
Car CD: The Silkworm, Disc 4.
On my Kindle: The Silkworm, Chapter 40. :)
In my DVD player (and hopefully, I'll actually get to watch it this weekend): Bernard and the Genie (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002S64OQ/), with Alan Cumming, Lenny Henry and Rowan Atkinson. I remember seeing this on TV quite a few years ago and enjoying it very much. It's not knee-slappingly funny, but I remember it being delightful and fun.

Its not me
Sorry to hear that. I have no doubt it's their loss.
-
Greetings from Metro North, New Haven Line, Danbury branch.
-
{{{{{Hugs}}}}} for DR Cillaliz...
-
That's the director's mantra DR ELMORE.....but our LEAD just doesn't know his lines and holds everything up.....he doesn't know his blocking either.....but we sort orbit around him as it is.....
-
Sorry to hear your news, DR Cillaliz.
-
Back from a cup of soup and some chicken tenders. Will now relax until I leave for the birthday thing.
-
My book group went out to lunch today as one of the first members is moving to Boulder. It was a lovely day for outdoor seating and we had a very nice time.
-
I returned home just a little bit ago. Keith said he sent me an email as Julie might call back.
From Keith:
I deleted a recorded message from the Julie Smith of the "IRS" today. She indicated we owed money and if we didn't make immediate arrangements to pay we were in deep shit. Click on this link: http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/blog/fake-irs-collectors-are-calling?page=3
-
Its not me
I am honestly shocked and extremely disappointed for you.
-
Thanks everyone, but I'm ok. I knew this was a possibility.
-
Now there is nothing stopping me from going to the city council over the noise from the Hard Rock Concert last night that you could hear clear as day up to 5 miles away from the casino. The process also made me go back over my career and really think about it. I"m going to be making some changes. Not quite sure exactly what, but I have a feeling it will be good
-
Knowing you Cilla I expect you to handle the disappointment well and to move forward. Maybe it was time for Edith to leave.
Good luck with the noise problem. In the little town of Jacksonville near us they after an outdoor theater. There are noise regulations and a time they have to stop playing. I know sometimes they go over because I have read complaints in the paper.
-
I just read "Longmire" has been canceled and won't be returning for a 4th season unless another station picks it up. My poor brother will be very disappointed.
-
DR George have you watched the new Doctor Who yet? We haven't and I'm wondering what your thoughts on it are. Am I correct that you have been watching the series from the beginning?
-
Enjoying a cocktail before dinner.
Left work early, did some shopping and got a birthday present I needed to buy.
Nice, lazy start to the weekend.

Thanks, John! And thanks again for the referral to the "Company" DVD. I got it and even cut it up into clips and posted some on my YouTube channel. Sweet to see it again after all this time.
-
I thought I had something brilliant to say upon arriving home, but the thought seems to have vanished.
-
Maybe between the four of us, we can remember to come up with some photographic evidence tomorrow!
-
Sorry DR Cillaliz! :(

Getting ready for my weekend in Buffalo.

The upstairs Palmers and the downstairs Palmers joined forces for dinner tonight. I bought chopped sirloins, which Richard grilled. The kids have lots if potatoes and green beans from their farm share, so Rob roasted the former and steamed the latter. Yum!

DR George have you watched the new Doctor Who yet? We haven't and I'm wondering what your thoughts on it are. Am I correct that you have been watching the series from the beginning?
Well, the beginning since the reboot with Christopher Eccleston. I enjoyed Peter Capaldi's first episode and will definitely watch the rest of the season.
SPOILER ALERT!! (but well known spoilers): I'd read that they're bringing on another companion fairly soon and Clara is leaving the show after the Christmas episode (after the season-proper). The thing I'd read a LOT about Clara in this first episode was that she couldn't seem to get over the fact that he's now "so old." Capaldi's Doctor is older and his character is going to be a little darker than Smith, Tennant or Eccleston, so that's definitely a change. But I'm looking forward to it all.
:)

Be back later.

(pick a note...any note)
Okay. G#.
-
DR George thanks for your comments on "Who". I took a chance and read your spoiler and I'm glad I did. When I first saw the face of the new doctor, even though I don't watch the show, I thought he was too old-lol.
-
For some stupid reason I didn't go outside tonight and missed a beautiful comfortable wind. Worse is that I stayed inside eating and I didn't walk earlier today.
In one direction the sky is beautiful and clear, the other direction dark and smoke filled.
-
Has the throat thing vacated the BK premises yet? Here are vibes that it does so forthwith and posthaste.
-
Cilla, I'm so sorry to hear your news, but know something terrific is coming up for you - you deserve it.

Thanks everyone. I went to a party tonight that some of the concert band members were having. It was fun until they started talking about immigration law and my representative who is the poster child for ridiculous immigration talk. The things he said were just wrong and I didn't want to argue about it so I left. It was a fun evening though. I was there for several hours and really did have a good time.
-
I'm disappointed about the judge thing, but I'm a criminal defense lawyer. We spend hours and days and weeks and months investing in cases hoping to hear a jury say we win, but that isn't always the case. When you lose a trial you accept it, put it behind you and move on to what's next. That's how I'm looking at this.
-
I don't think it's a fair process when the law partner of one of the candidates chosen is on the commission and doesn't see it as a conflict. Although I may change my mind, I really don't want to go through it again.
-
Its not me
I am honestly shocked and extremely disappointed for you.
I had the same. They don't call back, though.
-
Back from the birthday thing. Our little concert thing went really well.
-
Good evening.
-
What is this page five stuff?
-
Laura says Good Evening and leaves? What's good about goodbye. What's fair about farewell?
-
Really, getting to page six these days is like pulling teeth.
-
What am I, doing a monologue?
-
I did get some rather big laughs with the patter tonight. In fact, one of the biggest laughs was something I improvised before even getting to the patter, so that was fun. Sometimes all you have to do is listen and pick up on something that's said and then riff on that - one of my favorite things.
-
The girl singer was very good: Maegan McConnell is her name.
-
I'm tired. I have been out most of the week.
-
Good night.
-
What's good about good night? I'm tired, too, but I'm here. Until midnight.
-
I think Nick Redman will be stopping by shortly to drop some stuff off and to pick up some stuff.
-
Back from my meeting, and although we will be months away from an announcement, I can tell you that something amazing will be happening next year, something I've wanted to do for ages, and we began that journey by sealing a deal today.

I'm actually excited about it. Bob was surprised I'm not upset but when I told him I'm going to sign another lease he said "I'm Staying!!!" I'm glad. I do like office sharing with him.

So, thanks for all the vibes and support. It means a lot to me. I'm going to go to bed soon. tomorrow is another day and I'm looking forward to it!

. We received a couple of these calls too using the Vixters name. She was worried but I told her it was a scam
-
Cilla I am extremely disappointed for you but I think you have exactly the right attitude I do not doubt that you will continue to be successful whichever path you choose
-
Tonight we had a barbecue at my SIL,s house in honor of the wedding party... It was a lot of fun we started around 4. Around 9 the bride & groom and their friends took the Vixter and they all went downtown to a local pub where they played pool while we old dogies sat around the fire pit and reminisced
-
Tomorrow the wedding ceremony will be held in park a few blocks from our hotel and then we will all go to the hospital to take pictures with grandad Then the. Reception is at 8
-
So since it's already late and tomorrow will be a busy day I will say goodnight
