I am hoping the pain pill I just took will kick in soon. I am not so much in pain, as I am uncomfortable.
Thanks BK for the birthday mention in your notes! HHW is the best site on the Internet!! :D
George, have you heard about the play reading of LIFE IS COMPLICATED that Olympia Little Theatre is doing?
Have you heard anything about it?
Have you heard anything about it?
Yes, the original director had to drop out, and my friend Martin Larsen is now directing the reading. Also, my friend, Sharry, is playing the mother in the reading.

The original director was the one who asked me to SM.

I found this fascinating link (http://www.lettersofnote.com/2012/09/i-have-not-shot-her-yet.html) on Facebook. It's a Dorothy Parker letter, written from her hospital room in 1927.
Enjoy!

Thanks, Larry! Did you get my response to your e-mail? It kind of looked like it didn't work, but I hope it did.
Tonight begins TCM's month long Thursday Night Spotlight on American International Pictures.....Attack of the Puppet People is on at 3 a.m. EST.....
DR Jane, even sideways I think you look like Natalie Wood in that photo.

Yep! No expensive gifts?
And I am home from a delightful day at City Center! Tonight I am heading out to see a new documentary on conductor and choral arranger/director Robert shaw, which I believe our E&T DR edisaurus edited/.
My back-roads route was so rural that I crossed Chicken Bristle Road.
Happiest of birthdays to DR George!
DR Jane, even sideways I think you look like Natalie Wood in that photo.
THANK YOU! Natalie Wood at what age ;)
DR ChasSmith, the only thing on my calendar for next Wednesday is "Keep open for ChasSmith," so whatever works for you works for us. If you'll be on your way to Columbus, it makes sense to meet somewhere along I-71. Have you been to the Golden Lamb in Lebanon?

Oh my. Does that make an appearance in DR Elmore's Appalachian piece?

It very well could, DR ChasSmith. There is a Chicken Bristle, Kentucky (also Illinois).

No, I sure haven't. Anyplace in your general area will be fine. I can come up I-75 just as easily, and head back over to I-71 afterwards, so anything you want to do will be fine for me, too!

I don't know - somewhere between Miracle on 34th Street and Marjorie Morningstar?

Somewhere between looking like a baby and my actual age ;D
Richard suggests the O'Charley's at I-75 and 122, which is the Middletown exit (#32). From there you could continue up 75 to 675 around Dayton and pick up 70 to Columbus.

That sounds fine, too. Hey, I'm pretty easy! :)

Sunset exceeded all expectations. Stripped down to the music and lyrics which made the storytelling even more powerful. Glenn was amazing, her vocals were very different from her first go 'round, especially since the CD was made. I fell in love all over again with her and the piece.
DR JANE that's just a publicity photo from ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE. Susan played a Brownie in the movie.....but she got to be on the set with the great props, too.
Rotated in Photobucket:
I found this on Facebook a few days ago and had to save it and share it with you all. It's another "toponym" and this could be very useful for all of us!

I am home from the showing. It was nice to see DR edisaurus and Peter Miller, her cohort-in-crime on "Jews In Baseball" and Sacco and Vanzetti." The film was wonderful and quie moving.

I can't believe that I forgot to mention it when we got back but lunch at Plaza Jalisco was very good.
Back from our run-through and then dinner at Genghis Cohen, which was deelish.
Tomorrow night I am going to see NOISES OFF.
George's show must be over by now.
