Well, you've read the notes, the notes had some Latvian, and now it is time for you to post until the Latvian cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: CIRCUMBENDIBUS!
-
Which, of course, in Latvian is aplinku ceļš.
-
First post after BK!
-
Good night, 0 Guests!

All is quiet here.

Good morning to all
-
Glad to hear Cason is coming back to do the BRain From Planet X. He was so good in that role.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I do not sleep well when I'm drunk. The citrus and tequila were strong. I was up and down all night, and I now remember none of my truly weird dreams.
-
This morning I will go to City Center and look over the new Act One cores with Joshie.
-
BK, the BRAIN cast looks great. It's nice to know that Cason is alive and well. I wish he'd occasionaly stop by, along with Ms Karen, to let us know what they're doing these days.
-
Man pateikt.
Just a small glass, thanks.

Good morning, all.

The dream I had, which I shan't revisit or attempt to describe, easily makes up for DR Elmore's lack of same.
-
And it's Tuesday. Today I am taking my mother shopping for a new winter coat - which means I will get to see EACH and EVERY coat on the rack.
I may get myself some new trousers....we shall see.
-
TOD:
Godzilla, Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II, Mothra, Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah
High & Low, Seven Samurai, The Bad Sleep Well
A musical about Japanese stewardesses....I can't think of the name of it....DR MBARNUM sent me a copy of it years ago....
-
It feels like it should be more than Tuesday. Yesterday was very hectic, so we ought to at least be at Wednesday by now.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Wow. Picking my favorite Japanese movies is as hard as picking my favorite Latvian flicks.

Yes, TCB, it was the original Taste of Honey. I had never seen it.
I can see Kristen Chenoweth in a remake -- as the mother.

Tuesday morning greetings! After a day of relaxation yesterday, I must get myself in gear to grocery shop today.

DR VIXMOM Dance.

Those of you who use Airborne, do you do the mix with water or use it in a different form? I want to buy some for the house.
-

I like a cadillac margarita which has grand marnier. Never salt! For an extra treat, extra taquilla oh so good.
-

;D
-
I like a margarita with just tequila, Mexican Controy and fresh lime juice. No syrup, no mix, no agave.
And extra salt.

Same exactly. The only thing I can never remember, if it's been a while, is the ratio of each.
And yes, a container of margarita salt is a staple in this house.
-
I seem to recall the recipe I loved being "3-2-1". But which is which?
-
I buy the chewable Airborne tablets, which I chew.
-
I'm up, I'm up - seven hours of sleep.
-
I never make them at home so I wouldn't know the mixture. Every once in awhile the bartender forgets to add the grand marnier and I can taste the difference, then confirm it by the color.
At the Mexican restaurant we went to for Keith's birthday they gave him a birthday treat of grand marnier & taquilla in a shot glass. I got to drink most of it since he was driving. It was delicious.
-
The Grand Marnier thing is a nice treat once in a great while, but for my taste a perfectly mixed regular margarita on the rocks is heavenly enough for most occasions.
-
Just got back from dropping off library sale donations and thrift shop donations, and I'll have more ready to go out tomorrow.
-
Two favorite delightfully offbeat Japanese films:
Nobuhiko Obayashi's HOUSE (HAUSU) (1977)
Minoru Kawasaki's EXECUTIVE KOALA (2005)
-
Glad to hear Cason is coming back to do the BRain From Planet X. He was so good in that role.
Ditto. He was certainly great on the CD!
-
Page Two? Really?
-
And I am home from City Center. Very tired. Joshie and I looked at the first four numbers for The King & I. I think his work is quite excellent.
I learned today that this Lincoln Center production had several new orchestrations by Michael Starobin. As soon as I saw the one inserted into "I Whistle A Happy Tune," I knew it wasn't vy Robert Russell Bennett.
-
I seem to recall the recipe I loved being "3-2-1". But which is which?
Tequila is the 3. The other two is your taste. Want more orange, use more triple sec or whatever. Want more tart, use more lime.
-
So last night, I had my first ever rehearsal as one of two assistant stage managers. It was fairly easy. We watched the rehearsal of the two plays (one at a time, of course) that are directed by one of four directors. Both of these plays have only two people. I wrote down some rudimentary blocking and took notes on possible needed props. Tonight is the TAO board meeting, but tomorrow and Thursday are more rehearsals. We open in October!

I don't have them very often so I go for the big treat. Yes, on the rocks :)
-
Margarita! Where the wind comes sweeping down the plain.....
Or that might be something else I am thinking of.
-
Had some bacon, eggs, and toast for my meal o' the day, Richard Sherman has come and gone and we have new, slightly better versions of two songs, plus one song we didn't have on the other demo, so that's good. The ION cassette thing was here in time so I've already transferred and gotten to the restoration guy. The ION thing seems very cheaply made but it does the job. Now I have to remember what I did with some cassettes I wanted to transfer.
-
age Two? Really??
-
I have an ingrown fingernail that is working my last nerve.
-
I need to work a bit on "Luck Be A Lady" before i settle in tonight.
-
I'm still thinking about those enchiladas from Cafe Frida last night. I wanna go back1
-
Good evening!
-
We're still on page 2 at 7:17 pm Eastern?
-
Rob Berman told me today that two margaritas last night did him in, and I told him I felt the same.
-
Two more

Yum, though mine would be cheese enchiladas.
-

Two! That would do you in ;)
-
Two will do me in, too, these days. It's shocking, actually, how these things change over time.
-
Well I got through 14 minutes of MON ONCLE which is not quite the 20 minutes I made it through last time.....don't get Tati.....
-
I mean, I'll be all right with the two, but if I go farther I'd regret it. And I *will* feel the two a little more than I'd like.
-

Well, I'll be a monkey's uncle.

Does anyone know what this is? It's "something" going to or from a stereo jack. The white piece of paper is covering an adhesive pad, so it must be intended to be mounted permanently.
-
I'm always finding these THINGS that obviously came WITH something.
I kept one such mystery item for several years before deciding that if I hadn't found a need for it in all that time, out it goes. Thankfully, that was a couple of years ago and no such need ever turned up.
-
Disaster! has arrived.
-
Disaster! the musical, that is.
-

Maybe it might be a mini-microphone? :-\
-
And on that note (pick a note, any note), I'm outta here. I'm off to the TAO monthly board meeting. It won't last as long as last night's rehearsal, so that's good. :)
Be back later.

Yes, it reminds me of those sunction-cup phone pickups from days of yore. The thing I'm stumped about is the adhesive, which looks like it's meant to be stuck to something permanently.
Maybe tomorrow I'll try just holding it to something and see if it records.

DR VIXMOM Dance.
Wow!
-
Page three? Really?
-
Had a long talk with my sister, Linda, about the parental units.
-
Those of you who use Airborne, do you do the mix with water or use it in a different form? I want to buy some for the house.
Is it sick?
-
It seems that each of us children has a different idea of what's going to happen. How that will translate when something does happen is an unknown. Hopefully it won't be a bad unknown.
-
I was going to watch a movie tonight, but I think I'll skip that.
-
In favor of getting us to page four.
-

I've been looking for that!
-
I did finish Swann's Way tonight, Ready to start on volume two. I have two translations, however, so the question becomes: Which should I read: Within a Budding Grove or In the Shadow of Young Girls in Flower. The first is more poetic, the second more vulgar.
-

I've been looking for that!
Now you know where it is.

Four!
-
How are you this evening, Vixmom?
-
Have you settled in after your trip?
-
I tend to save things for years... I won't throw it away or donate it until a week or so before I need it
-
Today was a little better but I am still not in the mood to be working
-
I'm with DR VIXMOM......and then it hits me: That's what that was!!!!
I have a drawer full of such items......mysterious.....DR GEORGE's guess seems logical.
-
AH....I forgot to say my SWING CD arrived today. Most excellent!
-
Tonight after work I stopped by my moms to show her some pictures from our vacation
-
My Massachusetts brother was there as well (in town for business) so we had a nice little visit
-
Jack I hope I said thus back when you changed it, but it just struck me again,,, I really really like your avatar photo
-
Gratuitous post No. 100!

I didn't feel like working today, either. But I had to. And I did.

I think I'm going to call it quits.

Greetings 0 Guests!

I tried watching Michael Weatherly's new series BULL. I lasted twenty minutes.
-

Elmore, if you have an ingrown fingernail, soak it in Epsom salt.
-
hello and good night
-
The weather was fairly nice today.

-
Cilla, I didn't even get to say hello!
-
We I have missed you.
-
I wrote (and rewrote) for over three hours today.
-
I may have to go through a 12-step program when I finish this book.
-
Then I vacuumed the living room, went to get lunch, and then picked up my laundry.
-
A pretty exciting day!
-
Last afternoon / evening I went to a gathering of my high school friends.
-
Actually, some of these friendships go back to grade school.
-
Had a long talk with my sister, Linda, about the parental units.
I hope it was satisfying.
-
Who in the heck were all those old people??
-
Those of you who use Airborne, do you do the mix with water or use it in a different form? I want to buy some for the house.
Is it sick?
No, just want to be prepared. Keith was sick on the trip and I felt like I was coming down with a cold. We both used up the Coldeeze. I took Benadryl while Keith drank something he mixed in water that looked like it might have been similar to Airborne, hard to know since it was in Greek ;D
I did not get sick while Keith'said cold and cough cleared up in 4 days.
-

Sounds just like me.

Thanks for the report. The preview we saw tonight had me chuckling.

Unfortunately, the women have aged better than the men.

This was only one man's opinion.
-
I usually don't dismiss a program unless I have watched one complete episode.
-
I didn't feel like working today, either. But I had to. And I did.
Ditto, Ditto, and Ditto.
-
The board meeting tonight lated a little longer than I expected, but we talked about many things, and actually had elections for new officers. I, as treasurer, was the only position not up for re-election.
-
Our (now past) president resigned and our new president was actually one of the founding members of Theater Artists Olympia, so he's been involved since the very beginning.
-

Why were you not up for re-election?

My position is up every two years and this is the off-year...either that, or I just said that I would run again and no one wanted to challenge me, so I just got to stay.
