Sorry to hear vixmom's snow day was a bust. Blizzard conditions are raging just fine up here.

How bad is it? Manhattan seems to be slush, ice and about four inches of snow, I think. I will step out in a bit to post a letter and go to the corner bofega.

They're saying to be very careful of the ice, though. Wear shoes with good traction if you can.
I have submitted my application for a new position here at USAA.
No-snow-problem vibes for ChasSmith.
Thank you, Jane.I have submitted my application for a new position here at USAA.
VIBES YOU GET IT!
Job vibes for John G!
TOD:
I like SOB a lot - but it stars one of my least favorite performers Richard Mulligan. And the dressing room scene with Julie Andrews trying to decide if she should show her breasts was almost identical to the one in the following year's Victor/Victoria when she was trying to decide if she should go on as Victor/Victoria.....
"Trunk Tunes, Soup Cans, and Breasts: A New Musical Revue"
George, the busiest man in the show business, is having one of his late night outs, I guess.

Won't the report still be good next week?
I know at least one person in The New Yorkers but can't remember who.
I finished my proofreading about 2:00 and spent the afternoon on the phone or reading. My retired press agent friend, Bob Ullman, who's 95, called me to tell me how proud he was of me. I hadn't spoken to him in four years, and I cannot let this time get by again.
Bib was the press agent for four Ethel Merman shows - Call Me Madam, Happy Hunting, Gypsy, and Hello Dolly! - and the 1964 revival of Boys From Syracuse, among many others. When I spoke to him last, I sen him the CD set of Dearest Enemy. I told him I'd send him Roberta, and he told me he saw Bob Hope, Lyda Roberti, Tamara, and the original cast in 1933.

DR John G, I hope we have something to celebrate next week in NYC!
Actually I know a LOT of people in The New Yorkers - so, Larry, say hello from me to Tessa Grady, Kevin Chamberlin, Ruth Williamson, and Eddie Korbich.

Seriously.
And isn't he the same age, or a year older, than the union guy at the Encores! rehearsals? I'm so sorry I keep forgetting his name.

I even managed to figure out a way to incorporate our old towel stand into my art corner as a place to hang my stencils.

Great pictures, ChasSmith! But at the same time, I'm glad I don't live there!
It was over 90 degrees here yesterday.
The wind was ferocious though, we lost about 24 feet of 6 footstockade fencing
DR elmore--you really should write a book!

Let's just say I'm toying with a book. I've written eight chapters so far, and I put aside the project for The New Yorkers.
The government opened three hours late today. I was one of five who made it in to the office (out of about 18 or 19). It was a very quiet day. The streets were deserted.

And on that note (D#), I'm leaving work. I'm meeting a friend at a relatively new Mexican restaurant. It's probably been here for a couple of years, but neither of us has ever gone, so we'll find out what it's like.
Be back later.
I won't proceed until I get the eight chapters more polished and focused ad my brother Randy's approval. I don;t want him to feel hurt by what I write. I'm still waiting on feedback from friends as well.
Good luck vibes for DR John G!
I, of course, am still thinking about pie. This one looks too rich, sweet and delicious.

I would feel more comfortable if I had the freedom to get around without having to rely on the carpool vehicles.

Could someone carpool with you? Would you be interested in that?
Also, I would like to take my scooter, but space will be at a premium in the carpool cars.
